The Night Visionaire is probably the best foam bnf plane you can buy. It was recommended to me by someone in my RC club who has 77 planes, and he brings his visionaries to the filed more than any other plane. He bought 4 of the original visionaries when he learned that the night visionaire was replacing it, and the new receiver dies not have the feature that allows you to turn off AS3X, which can interfere with some 3D maneuvers. At this point, I have 2 night visionaries, and I'm about to replace the receiver in one of them to get rid if the AS3X in that one.

Not impressed, auto safe nonsense kicking while in 3d mode without hitting panic button, also disconnected from transmitter mid flight for five or ten seconds almost crashed due to it ( DX8)

Haven't mastered the plane as well as some of my friends have. Receiver failed and I replaced it with a Futaba unit. No longer has panic button feature. Light strip on elevators hard to execute connections. Gave up on one elevator; it is dark. Light strip in body at the left side not glued in securely. ESC doesn't sense number of cells in battery-- I tried to connect a 3 cell battery but the ESC was programmed for 6-cell and the motor would quit right away. Only discovered this fact because of a really smart co-flyer helped me. Had to re-program the ESC.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. Well, needless to say, it was a sure fired hit!! Boys and their toys!! He assembled it and took it out on it's maiden voyage....quite successfully!! He is extremely happy with his new airplane and quite happy with the quality. For the RC enthusiast it is a very nice upgrade from the Apprentice (beginner) model.
