I stand there, filled with excitement. Sitting in front of me, a new keg of craft beer just waiting to be tapped. Begging for it. A bead of condensation runs down the barrel as if in excited anticipation of the deeds to come. I step forward, preparing myself for the miracle about to unfold in front of me. I had been there some times before, with other kegs. Caring partners one and all. Each one unique and genuine in its presentation. Each of us supporting the other, sharing in many good times, and occasionally the bad. I let the coupler rest just inside the lip, lined up perfectly with the spline. With anticipation and dreams of the sweet nectar to come, I twist to begin the magic. Immediately I’m surprised by an angry volley of beer to the face! What nightmare is this?! I instinctively untwist the tap and step back from my partner in this timeless dance, surprised, shocked, saddened and scared. What had happened? Had I hurt it? Was something wrong with it? Was something wrong with me? For a long moment, I stand there, unable to completely understand what had just transpired... The precious lifeblood of the keg, dripping from my face, clouding my vision. I wipe it away and begin to compose myself. I step forward cautiously. In front of me, it sits there. No hint of the former anger that had just been unleashed, no sign of vengeance to be had, only a small puddle of beer under the rim. I lean forward and inspect the keg assembly. Flawless in its presentation. What had happened? Was it me, had I somehow cross threaded the coupler? I look at the coupler in my hand. Nothing amiss. Every piece in place unbroken and in serviceable order. I inspect the tapping lever. What’s this?! It operates perfectly... decoupling itself from the keg it was never attached to... Shipped to me in the down and locked position!!!! What kind of monster would do such a thing?! Such a simple but evil trick to play, directed at the unsuspecting heart of a man on the cusp of ecstasy. Betrayed by those I trusted most... 5 stars. Great product. Good price. It did ship in the down position though, so be sure to release it before you tap.

Works just as good as a micro matic or kegco. Fits tight, comes with all necessary parts to hook the lines up.

All parts feel like they're pretty good quality. I bought all the same brand because generally that works best. Just a few hiccups. The tower tube is impossible to get over the connection that comes with the keg connector. The hose is too small. I had to heat it slightly to soften it so I could get it on but it did work after that. Secondly I'd suggest bolts that are longer in addition to the ones provided in case someone is converting a chest fridge/freezer to kegerator to accommodate a thicker wall. Those bolts I bought are 4 inches granted to long do I'd say 3in ones should suffice for most conversions. Other than that the parts are working well. The regulator works well the keg connector works well and the tower does is job to. I would also suggest as added protection some Teflon tape. I used some on the connections as precaution.

Made of stainless steel and solved my sputtering beer problem immediately. Put it to hard use immediately for a St Pats party and worked flawlessly all night! Only bit of a concern is the clearance which is a bit tight to the top of my kegerator than the last one but still fit in with the height of the keg.
