I believe it is. I have relaxed hair so I don't use permanent hair color, but I do use semi-permanent color. I recently found the shampoo and conditioner to accompany the clay mask, so I'm excited to try it. I had been using it prior to shampooing and conditioning with the Pantene Charcoal line. I will say, the first time I used this, I could not get over how soft it made my hair. I've gone through a full jar of it. I was looking to buy more of it 2 weeks ago when I came across the shampoo and conditioner. I actually grabbed 2 of these. I ordered my first jar on Amazon. I will say, it is less expensive at Target; this is where I purchased the 2 jars of clay mask, shampoo, and conditioner.

Q: I recieved the product is it only suppose to be half full?

It never been filed to the very top like some products it works great. I order from Amazon and just picked up at my local beauty supply store and it never been filled to the stop it’s half to 3/4 filled most time I been using this product for 2-3 years

Q: How often should it be used?

I'm not ap professional but I would say once a month or when hair feels like it has products built-up.
