The Nerdy Nummies Cookbook : Sweet Treats for the Geek in All of Us

The book is good quality and in good shape. It took a little longer to come but it was worth the wait.

The cookbook is fun and easy to follow, offering lots of creative and fun ideas. Unfortunately many of the recipes require the purchase of additional baking materials (special tins, moulds, bags, candy thermometers etc) making it hard for the average Home baker to actually try any of these recipes with the basics one might have handy, without a prior kitchen upgrade investment.

Rosanna is an incredible personality and her show ‘Nerdy Nummies’ is Extremely enjoyable even if I do not bake any of her creations.I bought this book to give me some motivation to do some cooking/baking. A plethora of recipes have been provided. Annotated images to really help the reader identify important steps in the baking process of each product.Rosanna has also included an extremely helpful 2-page annotated image of a Motherboard for her motherboard cake creation. Despite being an IT Technician, I found this addition to be of great help to those less familiar with technology and computing components.Recommend to anyone who loves nerdy and geeky stuff and would like to get into baking.

Not in a good condition at all. Front cover is bashed in at the corners and the inside front cover is ripped the whole way down. Yes it was only £3 something but it should have stated the damage.

This is very nice cook book . Lots of lovely pictures , bright and colourful BUT ...... some of the recipes are very complicated with lots of element which often take hours to set in between steps ( not ideal for children ) also be prepared to buys lots of different ingredients and equipment that is very pricy. Some of the recipes are often wasteful and if your not from the US be prepared to spend time converting the measurement. If you are a keen baker and have skills and lots of equipment already then great. If your buying this because your child has seen Miss Pansino and fancies a go at making her amazing looking treat ( that’s us ) then I’d avoid. Overall time consuming and expensive .

It’s complicated but it wouldn’t be original if it wasn’t. I bought this after much begging from my daughter who is 7 and a huge fan. The recipes are ingredient/equipment-intense and time consuming but not impossible, fun to do together and the end result is very tasty. I’ll be buying the next book for her for Christmas.
