Will these cut heavily embossed Antique tin ceiling tiles? They are not flat they have decorative images stamped into them. Thank you

It depends on how high the embossing is. The jaws of this snippers are 1 inch wide at the tip and 3/8 inch wide about halfway in. If you can't get enough of the cutting blades around the tin, you won't have enough leverage to cut. I'd say, if the embossed tin is no higher than 3/8 inches, you should be fine. If it's higher than that, I'm not sure.

What are these rated for? Like what guage metal can they cut? I need legit bulldogs

I usually cut 18 -20 gauge. Various patterns on slow turns and angle cuts. I have other tools for long straight cuts. Will these handle 18 Gauge?

Would these work well for cutting tin ceiling tiles/backsplash? Or would a different model work better?

I think they would work great! I used them to cut a piece of metal from the porch roof...thick metal, and they worked great.
