I Know I Can!

I bought my 3 month old several books with ppl that look like her. This book was beyond amazing. It teaches how to say hello in 2 different languages and also mentions some historical individuals. This book was a job well done!

My Little One Loved The Pictures. I told her The Mommy was Me brushing her wavy locks of hair & the Beautiful Little One is her.I saw where someone commented how much they like the book but was put off by religious references. I'm so glad they said that because it cued me to buy it! It's so encouraging. It's not at all a Bible stories book. It shows she can go anywhere & do anything that's in her heart or imagination to do and be grateful for it all. What's inside her can elevate us all and even change the world.We Also received 'Hair Love' by Matthew A. Cherry as a Gift. It's a heart warming, truly realistic to this family, wonderfully illustrated book about Daddy's love & care of his Precious little queen daughter. A MUST Buy.Our Family appreciates and enjoys these books, as you can see in the video attached.

I read the reviews and what I read that this book was too religious. That what made me buy the book beside the author being black. The truth is she only mention God twice. So if that's too religious to bad but my 3yr old daughter love the book. A much buy for little young girls

Very inspirational and a good read for little ones to encourage them that they can accomplish any dream they put their mind to. As well as to think beyond the box someone may try to place you in.

I love this book! I saw this book at my hair salon, Girlfriends in Ypsilanti Michigan. When I asked about it, my hairdresser told me her client's daughter wrote it! It's so perfect. During graduation season I usually give Dr. Seuss' book All The Places We Will Go. But this year, and from now on, I will be giving this book instead! Not only is it inspirational, historical and relevant, it's fun too! Put a smile on my face. And the illustrations are very well done, colorful, happy and uplifting. This is perfect gift for your friends of color. Nothing can stand in your way unless you let it! Great message, in a little book!

Just right for my little girl

Love reading this to my daughter, she chooses it and calls it "can" . Cute story and extra special because our first vacation was Cuba! She's fascinated by the story and she's 2.

I actually thought this book was about hair. My daughter hates getting her hair done so I thought this book would help but it's not about that at all. It's even better. Encouraging young girls to dream big and think anything is possible!
