I was missing a piece but the seller sent it right away!

I chose this product mainly for its price point. Products at major home stores are too flimsy or far too overbuilt for my needs. This was a compromise.The kit arrived with all necessary parts. If fitting over an existing post, a screwdriver and hack saw is all that is needed.Assembly took an hour or less. I installed this over an existing 4x4 wooden post from the old mailbox. This should prevent the post from being broken by snow plows rounding my corner.The end caps that enclosed the PVC tubes should be fastened with glue. The caps fit too loosely to be confident they will stay in place themselves.Overall very happy with the appearance, quality, and cost of product. Recommend.

I was a little skeptical about a plastic (vs. wood) post, but this thing is pretty sturdy, and looks great. I especially like the hang-down placard for the street numbers. I did a couple of "modifications" though: 1) I glued and screwed together some of the joints to make them more sturdy (there was some strange retaining clip that didn't do it's job aligning the cross-piece and 2) I reinforced the tethering chain to the placard with zip ties knowing that the stock clips/hooks may not survive the snowplow wave on a heavy snow day. The hardest thing was digging out the old post (hint: damp soil is MUCH easier to work with). Rock solid so far!

I was a little skeptical due to the other reviews but everything was great. The product arrived on time with all the pieces and instructions. My entire install took two hours. Concrete set overnight. The customized address plate put this product over the top. HIGH quality and easy install. Highly recommend.

This mailbox is absolutely gorgeous, which makes me want to forgive all the stuff that's wrong with it. First of all, my husband had to drill a few new holes, because some of the pre-drilled holes didn't line up with each other. Second (as others have stated), the caps don't secure onto the post. I have no clue why the company hasn't fixed this issue. I ended up using a strong, water-proof glue to attach the caps. We'll see if it holds up. Third, while putting it together, the number plate/sign came off several times. The clips slide right out of the hooks, so I'm sure once a nice wind comes along, I'll be seeing the plate on the ground. If this thing wasn't so darn gorgeous, I would have returned it by now.

Oh my gosh, I love this mailbox and stand. My house is along a heavily wooden rural road. The mailbox that was here was on a green post and was a black mailbox. I constantly drove right past my driveway because I couldn’t see it. Now I have a white post which shows up in contrast to all the trees. And the hanging down sign is clearly visible at night from a distance. It is so much more reflective than I thought it would be. I’m super happy with this purchase. Since I installed this I haven’t driven past my driveway once!!

It's a high-quality product that looks and feels high-end. That dangling number plate looks really nice.Yes, we can screw metal numbers to the plate.

Assembly was easy. Just had to cut to size and slide over the post. Before putting decorative base on i used a couple screws to secure the mailbox to the post as i did not bury it.
