The first ingredient is Palm oil. The making of soap means saponification of oils. Saponified Palm lathers very very well.

Any tips on how to preserve this soap so it doesn't melt away?

This soap is meant to be used sparingly. think The best way is us it from an applicator bottle make it a liquid, 2-3oz soap- with 8 oz distilled water..in a blender. Add 1 oz of almond oil and 1 tablespoon of vanilla i use this all over for both hair and skin... the almond oil keeps it from being drying and the vanilla makes it smell very high end...

What types of skin is this mainly used for. What ethnicity ?

I don’t know how or what ethnicity has anything to do with this but to answer your question, this soap can be used by any ethnicity. As for skin type, mine is combination skin. It’s helped a lot with my acne. Use a moisturizer as it may dry your skin a bit.
