3rd time we purchased a set of 3 replacement filters. They fit perfectly, good value for money, fast and dependable delivery.

Replacing refrigerator filters twice a year with Manufacturer Branded filters can be quite pricy. These Belvita UKF8001 water filters have the NSF 42 certification and are affordable. Belvita filters were an exact replacement for the filter I removed from my Whirlpool refrigerator. The UKF8001 filter is fairly generic, fitting similar featured Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, and Kenmore branded refrigerators.Changing the filter is an easy job provided the person has no problem twisting their wrist. The filter compartment is located on the inside roof of the refrigerator in a hinged compartment that can be lowered by simply pushing in the front tab on the compartment cover. Then you reach in and get a good grip on the existing filter. It will be partially hanging down from the compartment. Give it a quarter twist counterclockwise and It will then detach and pull away from the refrigerator filter nozzle. Don’t worry about water squirting out as the water is shut off by the twisting action of the filter. Take the new Belvita filter out of its box, remove the plastic wrapping from around the filter, then push it into the refrigerators filter compartment nozzle, give it a quarter clockwise twist, snap the cover closed, and you’re done. It probably took me longer to write this than it will to change the refrigerator filter.About two gallons of water need to be dispensed and disposed of after replacing a refrigerator filter. If you don’t do this, you’ll notice a cardboard-like flavor in the water.Being the equivalent of Whirlpool and Maytag branded refrigerator filters, the Belvita filters represent a good saving.

These filters are great value and last and function as well as any others we have had. Ice and water flavour is devoid of all chlorine and other chemical smells and tastes. Have purchased this brand before and find for me they have been the best value for the money.

I love our Whirlpool Refrigerator, but always felt a little put out because we had to purchase such expensive filters to have clean water and ice. I decided to try out this 3-pack of Belvita UKF8001 filters because they are significantly less expensive than the recommended brand that came with the refrigerator. I'm really glad I did because these work great! I compared one of the filters to the one in the fridge and saw that other than the branding, this Belvita UKF8001 looked exactly the same as the original. Changing the filters was easy as well. I turned off the refrigerator'sincoming water supply, opened the filter housing, twisted out the old filter, and replaced it with this Belvita filter. After turning the water supply back on, I drained out several gallons and was all set. The water and ice are as clean as usual using this Belvita filter. With this 3-pack, I'm good for the next year and a half. Given that these filters fit and work just as well, I would definitely order these again versus spending more on the Whirlpool recommended brand.

Didn't really require filters for my water but ice maker wasn't working with out one. the price for three of these was cheaper then a bypass plug.
