Are the capsules as good for you as the powders?

Pros and Cons for both. The powder is cheaper and you get a bit more for your money based on weight. It you consume large doses and/or multiple servings daily then the powder is a better option. Also most older people rather drink the mixed powder with liquid vs swallowing pills. As for the amount of supplement per serving. It's looks as though 1 tablet is 1000mg, 1 serving of powder is 1000mg and 1 capsule is 750mg. Tablets/capsules are easier to transport over the powder. If you are using Glutamine for gut health then the powder doesn't have to be broken down as does the plastic capsule coating so thats better for faster absorption. I personally don't like to consume powder of any taste or tasteless with supplements so I prefer the tablets over the powder. It's basically all dependent on your personal preference and financial situation.

Although it may be sourced from Japan that does not automatically mean the products are low quality. Its sounds like the representative the other young lady referred to never did her research on the Jarrow Formulas company. They are one of the company that DOES NOT produce trace products! Trace products typically means if for example your front labels says "10,000 UI" etc, if you check the ingredient list it will show "traces" of the actual drug or supplement rather than telling you in Black and white "this product has 10,000 UI of live X,Y,Z, drug/supplement until such and such date.' I would look into this More so you can get a better understanding of what I am sharing. i hope this helps. Its has helped me a lot with choosing better supplements that actually do what they say they will!

I tried another brand and it is bitter and gritty. How does this brand compare?

This brand is good although I normally mix it with Bcc powder. I can't tell any difference between this and the glutamine 5000 I used the get at GNC
