I put a 34oz. spotting scope on it and it is very stable, would handle more weight. Not sure what a D7000 & DX 18-200mm lens weighs combined?

Does it work with canon g7x mark ii?

I have used the Manfrotto MTPIXIEVO with a full-frame NIKON DSLR and medium telephoto. The Canon Canon G7X Mark II should work just fine.

Will this tripod work with sony camcorder model hdr-pj340?

It's a weight and potentially balance issue. I mount my heavy camera and it works fine. Over 2kg with the lens, more than 4 pounds. Didn't check your camcorder specs, but should be fine.
