Covers the taskbar at the top of my Mac. I wonder who designed this. Anyway, I threw it in the bin. I wish I returned it. Waste of money

It was a great screen protector until I noticed one major flaw that I hadn’t picked up in others’ reviews: for my brand new 2021 MacBook Pro 16”, this screen protector almost completely covers up the taskbar at the top of the screen. I didn’t realize that it was the screen protector that was doing it until I had spent hours on the phone with Apple support and actually went to the Apple store… It just never occurred to me that a screen protector would be so poorly designed. Once I realized this, the screen protector is completely unusable and I’m returning it.

Belkin as a brand delivers the quality as expected, I initially surprised by the few negative reviews etc. But it looks like this product was made for 2019-2020 Macbook Pro 16 inches, and not for modern macbook with M series chipsets(M1,M2,M3---mXXXX). Overall my experience was good on a 2019 macbook pro. I would definitly recommend it. Brightness could have been better, if I increase screen brightness on mac to support it, it would automatically decrease the battery life, as screen is running full brightness, and this privacy screen gaves away of the brightness as tradeoff using the privacy screen. Other than that overall, it is a very good quality and clear instructions. I am not sure how the 2 year warranty helps. But time will tell.

Ich habe nach einer guten und günstigen Privacy Schutzfolie gesucht, im besten Fall magnetisch.Diese ist nicht magnetisch, aber trotzdem removable und leicht sauber zu machen und anschließend wieder zu verwenden. Schützt perfekt vor heimlichen Blicken auf den Mac. Helligkeit stellt bei solchen Folien immer ein Problem dar, aber damit kann ich leben. Top Folie! Immer wieder gerne! Nicht für M-Chip Modelle, sondern die Generation davor! Tut was es soll.

This was very easy to install due to the durability of the protector and the template provided. It's a perfect fit and you don't have to worry about shifting it afterwards. Once you lay it on and feel it touch the edges of your display, you're good to go. Just follow the instructions and there are no issues. I don't believe I had any bubbles at all which is more than I can say for most mobile screen protectors.Regarding clarity, I think the Retina display sharpness is reduced a tiny bit, but it doesn't affect graphics and web work.It keeps your display clean and since I've had it I've probably only cleaned the screen once in comparison to daily prior to this. Maybe it masks the fingerprints or they don't adhere it to it — I'm not sure, but it seems to stay much cleaner. If you have pets that run across your keyboard, it'll prevent any further scratches to your screen as well.The other thing is the privacy you have of your screen, even sitting right next to someone. My wife asked why I was staring a blank screen and I told her I wasn't. She was shocked and asked what I did to achieve this. It's great if you're traveling because it makes it close to impossible for someone to make out your screen. If someone is directly behind you like on a train at night, they'd still be able to see the screen in the reflection of your window but that's part of working in public.Lastly, your camera is unaffected because the screen protector does not cover the camera lens. I prefer it that way and probably wouldn't have bought it if it did.Overall, I'm glad I bought it and although it's not the cheapest, it's a good product.
