This lantern is perfect as an emergency go to light in case of a power failure or makes a perfect light source in a garage, barn or outbuilding where a plug in light would be a pain in the butt. The light itself is extremely bright with a main light and then two side lights which are these neat flashlights which can be removed. On high, you can switch the main light together with switching on each flashlight which is sufficient to fully light a large room. The main lantern is a rechargeable battery whereas the two flashlights take 3 AAA alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries. In addition, as an option or back-up power source, the main lantern unscrews at the base and holds 3 D size batteries. A nice extra is that the rechargeable battery can be used to charge one's cell phone. My in-laws live in North Carolina which has its share of severe weather, for them this was in a cabinet with other emergency lights in case of power failure as was the case with hurricane Florence when they were without electric for 5 days. A lantern like this not only makes it safer, it at least is similar to the light you would normally get from a plug in lamp. I cannot overstate how bright this Lantern is with the main light switched on together with both flashlights. I am not sure of the lumens and those numbers in the ads are really inflated and cannot be trusted. I can say just from personal use our flashlights have been used at least several hours without a dent to the 3 small batteries. We had the main light on for about three hours with a slight decrease in brightness. I am sure it will remain lighted on the rechargeable battery for 4 or 5 hours. The light itself is made from that very tough plastic and is well-made and not a cheap poorly constructed lamp you might expect in the $20 price range. I am older from the generation that takes care of one's items and this light will last us a lifetime. I have 3 different types of lanterns and by far this was the best of the 3 and considerably less expensive than a similar light with removable flashlights. It is also very easy to carry if you are walking in an unlit area with its 2 comfortable metal handles. This is a terrific light regardless of your need as a safety back-up or something to take camping or on your boat. This is money well spent and I highly recommend this lantern. I now have purchased 3 of these and given two as gifts because we like our lantern so much. We are not paid in any way to endorse this product and this review is my honest feedback after buying several and putting the lantern to use.

This is a very nice compact and fairly inexpensive lantern. For me, I needed a light source while working on the house, in the basement, under the sink, and in other such places its really hard to see what you're doing and using a traditional flashlight is difficult and hard to angle just right. This lantern is both chargeable via cord and able to use batteries. It takes D-Batteries to power the main lantern, and the removable flashlights use several triple-As while removed. It is actually really bright, and lights up the entire piping under the sink on brightness level-1. brightness level-2 hurts my eyes a bit, but could be good outside in the dark. The flashlights are nice too, as you can see in the pictures, they act as additional lights on brightness level-2, but can be removed to focus a projected light onto something, which is useful to see something in the distance or look into a hole. In Summary: Its compact, quite bright, durable, and not too expensive. It's a good little light of mine.

This little lantern is awesome, especially at such an affordable price. Plugged it in and charged it up, and the light is definitely bright enough for a room or a tent. It came with AAA batteries for the removable flashlights, but mine were apparently crushed before packaging and had a little bend in the side. I didn’t want to risk it, so I replaced them with my own. As described, it does not include the D batteries for the big lantern, so I planned to provide those. I live in an area that has to be hurricane ready, and I feel confident that this will do the trick when power outages occur. The flashlights are easily popped out to take to another area. Nice that they work both ways, like a traditional, point and light, or stand up and use the ”lantern” side to use hands free. I like that it comes with both a usb charger and a car charger, so it will be easy to recharge either way, and won’t use up batteries so quickly. This is a very nice light, and I’m glad we got it!

This is a great lantern. Pros: - Very bright - Rechargeable - Removable flashlights work great, particularly because they can work as a floodlight or a flashlight - Light runs for a long time - D-cell batteries can be used as a backup power source if you don't have the ability to recharge. Cons: - USB-A to USB-A cable not very common. If you lose the cord it will be expensive to replace and you can't find it at your local drugstore, etc. - Need place to store the charging cord so you won't lose it. - The removable flashlights can be easily knocked loose from the base. Need stronger detents on the straps that hold them in place. - The lantern doesn't give you a full 360 degrees of light like a gas lantern would. This is particularly the case if the removable flashlights are in use away from the base. Then you get light 180 degrees opposed from each other. This makes it difficult to position the lantern for best light sometimes if you are cooking, as an example. - Not intuitive that you have to pull the hanger bracket out from its socket to so you can hang the lantern. - The hanger brackets should have a detent so you can use them to stand the lantern "upside down". This would give a bit more height to the light when needed.

We ordered this specifically for camp and we are so in love with it! Not only is it a bright lamp but has double flashlights! My 6yr old loves it and I love the convenience! Would highly recommend this product!

The one I got has a USB-C connector. I've not had to use it, but everything works, and it's very well thought out. It will run on a USB power bank, batteries, and/or USB plugged into a car or home outlet.

Die Lieferung der LED Camping Laterne war sehr schnell und kam in einer sicheren Verpackung. Die Laterne benötigt keine Batterien, wird durch einen leistungsstarken Akku betrieben. Nach dem Einlegen lässt sich die Laterne durch einen im Front bereich liegenden Druckknopf einschalten. Die Helligkeit ist sehr gut und überzeugt. Die Ecken sind mit dämpfendem Gummi umrandet. Die Stand der Lampe ist stabil. Durch einen Bügel kann die Laterne ebenfalls aufgehangen werden. Der Bügel liegt zentriert, sodass die Lampe senkrecht hängt. Das Material der Umhüllung der LED ist Plastik. Es ist klar und gut verarbeitet. Das grüne Gehäuse ist aus Hartplastik. Die Verarbeitung und die Haptik sind nur ok. Die schwarze Gummierung macht einen guten Eindruck. Insgesamt mit Betrachtung des günstigen Preises eine zufriedenstellende Qualität. Bei Camping- oder Outdooraktivitäten möchte man nicht im Dunkeln stehen. Man braucht eine robuste, widerständsfähige Lampe, die einen nicht im Stich lässt, wenn es darauf ankommt. Diese LED Laterne überzeugt den Naturaktivisten mit einer kompakten Form. Dazu gibt es noch 2 Taschenlampen die an der Laterne befestigt sind und mit Batterien die im Lieferumfang enthalten sind betrieben werden. Die Leuchtkraft der Taschenlampen hat mich ebenfalls überzeugt. Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Camping Lampe. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

This is a great light! I love the feature to be able to click off smaller flashlights from the larger lamp. Light source is super bright and lasts quite a while before requiring another charge. Very useful for camping in the pitch darkness. Only thing I do not like is the rubber on the handles... The texture gets sticky over use. This is a minor thing that I can get over. Lamp itself is great!

J'avais commandé cette lampe pour profiter de quelques moments sur ma terrasse le soir, mais je pense l'utiliser aussi à l'intérieur, en cas de panne par exemple, ou en dépannage en voiture : tout cela grâce aux deux lampes torches amovibles, pratiques et efficaces, la grande capacité d'éclairage, les divers cordons fournis et la maniabilité très aisée. Ravie de mon achat. Coût très raisonnable.
