The pages of this book literally fall apart. I have had to tape and retape it to keep it all in the same place. Besides this, book is really nice.

I've tried different activity books, and the Brain Quest ones seem to appeal to my kids the most. The level seems accurate to what kids are learning, though I "size up" a grade. The artwork is appealing and quality of the book itself is nice. It comes with a poster and stickers to track you progress which is fun. I wish they produced multiple versions for each grade because we go through one within half a year.

These Brain Quest Summer workbooks have become a yearly tradition for us, and they’ve been a really helpful way to keep my daughter engaged and confident between school years. We typically get the version for the next grade she’s going into, which makes the work feel like a smooth preview rather than pressure or repetition. The activities are varied and approachable, so she doesn’t get bored, and it really helps prevent that “summer slide” where kids forget key skills. I like that it keeps her mentally active without feeling like a full school day, and it gives a nice routine of light learning through the summer months. Overall, it’s been a consistent, teacher-friendly tool that supports her progress year after year without turning summer into school.

Summer Brain Quest: Between Grades 3 & 4 is a fantastic way to keep kids engaged and learning over the summer break. My child loves the fun challenges and activities, and I love that it helps reinforce key skills in math, reading, and problem-solving. Pros: Engaging and Fun: The workbook includes a variety of activities that feel like a game rather than traditional schoolwork. My child looks forward to completing each section. Skill Reinforcement: It covers important concepts that bridge the gap between grades 3 and 4, helping to keep skills sharp while preparing for the upcoming year. Interactive: The activities are well-structured, and there’s a reward system that motivates my child to continue progressing. Great Design: The colorful and visually appealing pages keep my child interested and excited to work through the book. Cons: A Bit Challenging: Some sections might be a bit tough for younger third graders, but that can be a good thing for keeping them challenged and engaged. Overall, this is a wonderful educational tool that keeps learning fun during the summer. It’s both enjoyable and helpful for maintaining academic progress. Highly recommend for parents looking for a fun and engaging way to bridge the gap between grades!
