Learning Resources Rainbow Sorting Crayons

This is a great set. I got it for my 2 year old and she loves it. She's behind in speech, but this has helped her to say "open please" every time she wants the box opened to pick a new color. Every time she puts away a color we count the toys and she's trying to count with us. She's trying to say the colors and she adores the toys. This keeps her busy for hours and it's been a week and she's still bouncing with excitement over it. The toys themselves hold up well to her rough play, though the blue glasses have fallen apart a few times, but have snapped back together okay. The Crayon containers are a good size and they are sturdy for their materials, I just wish they were plastic, but so far they've held up well enough.

My son requested these for Christmas. They are real quality, extremely educational, and come with many pieces inside of each color. You can easily use the crayons for many different games or educational purposes. I definitely will be getting a lot of use out of them along with my son! He loves to show his little brother all of the colorful things.

The crayons are excellent. My grandson really loves this group of crayons with their figures inside he identifies all the characters. Thank you for such a great product.

This toy was WILDLY popular with my 3 y/o because she's seen this toy on Miss Rachel and Genevieve's Playhouse. Although they are not the same toys inside as from those shows, my daughter legit played with these toys over and over and over for 3 straight days. She kept opening each of them and presented them like she was on Genevieve's Playhouse and then would put them all away on her own just to do it again. love love love. Would highly recommend for kids who are DONE with putting small items in their mouth. I had no worries having my daughter play with light supervision but if it was one year ago, there's probably no way. All small, handheld-sized toys.

Our son is autistic this toy keeps him very busy he loves the colors and lining up the toys

I have a child who has had a hard time learning the names of color. She can sort and match but naming and verbal identification has been difficult. This allowed me to hold something and ask for that same something in some color. Where sorting tasks seem harder to get that vocabulary in because she focuses on the visual discrimination. With this when she brought me the right one she could put it in but the wrong one and she couldn't. It helped connect the verbal aspect of color naming she struggles with, with the visual discrimination of the color she can do easily.The tubes are made from cardboard. There is room to add a few more color items.I do wish it was made from plastic and more durable but then that may have caused it to come with an increase in price. This was probably the most I would have paid for use with one child. I don't think the cardboard is a problem though because it's not a toy I'd leave in my daughters toy box. With so many little peices to be lost and the nature of the toy, it's something you put up and supervise while they are playing with it anyways. They should make a plastic version with the increased price though. I would have purchased something like that for use in a classroom when I taught preschool. I'm not convinced the tubes would last more than a couple years in a well run and controlled classroom.

It's very easy to use because it doesn't require assembly. The product is light weight as well. Each crayon has about 5 things but I added more items by just finding things around the house that's color coordinated, so it does allow room for you to add more items.

Like other reviews stated, it is slightly disappointing that these are made of cardboard and not plastic. However, they are a hard, durable cardboard that seems like it will last a long time. The caps are made of plastic and the little toys are all pretty good quality. My three year old watches a YouTube video where they play with these so she was very excited to receive them and plays with them every day.

These are great for any age! My son plays with these daily and provides him with hours of fun. Teaches him hand and eye coordination as well as colours and naming all of the items. Very happy with this purchase!
