Orolay Women's Thickened Hooded Down Jacket – Winter Shiny Puffer Jacket with RDS Down Filling

I was sure it was a mistake to order this, nearly cancelled it and am so glad i did not. I find the appearance a bit busy with all of the zippers and the shiny fabric but functionally it is outstanding and i am seriously considering getting a second one just so that i have another when this is worn out, if that happens.I love having pockets angled to be easily accessible (great for dog treats and Kleenex) and so many pockets is really nice. The zipper is really solid metal and will last the lifetime and beyond the life of the coat is my guess. The fabric seems durable and the coat is nice and warm.The little hand things that come out when you put your hand thru the sleeve, optional as you could just bypass them, is amazing. Not sure whats its called. Kind of like a built in hand cover that keeps the sleeve in place even when you move your arm. It sounds strange, I have never encountered this in a coat before and now cant imagine not having that little added feature. Kind of a fabric thumb hook?The coat unzips on the sids to be more loose. Maybe this feature would be useful if you are going to be sitting in a car or something or maybe have a very thick sweater or maybe even an extra vest under the coat? If you are pregnant this would be very handy.Qualtiy is top notch, engineering design outstanding. Who knew a coat needed engineering?

I love this coat! I am 5'8/5'9 and 155 pounds got an XL at first, and thought I would size up to be safe but it was too big. I exchanged it for a large and it was perfect except the length of the thumb hole was too small for tall people with big hands. I wish it was the same size as the XL the little black hand warmer. I get sooo many comments on this coat! Could use more fluff in it though.

Very happy with my new coat I bought recently. It’s keeping me warm in this cooler weather. Very nice weight to snuggle in. Flattering style with zipper details. Quality made and feels like it’ll last me years.

I live in northern MN. It’s below zero here for much of the winter. I needed a warm coat that covered my rear. Took a chance on this one and I’m so happy I did. I love this. I’m not going for a fashion statement in this weather but I admit this jacket looks great. I bought it larger so that I could wear thick sweaters under it. I wear a 16w and purchased a 2xl. It’s plenty big but I don't think it looks sloppy at all. It was so warm in the car yesterday (-16 out) that I had to take it off. If I had any comment on how to improve it would be the zipper. It’s a little hard to zip but I think it should loosen up with use. I may run a piece of clear paraffin over it to help, I adore this new coat.

Instead of a double zip, there are zips on both sides which can give you more room for sweaters, and sitting. Also, the extra down on the front which I think is why it’s called thickened, snap to the body of the jacket up and down just along the sides of the front zipper. You can unbutton those if you’re too warm. This coat is definitely for those sub-freezing days. And yeah, it’s very warm. Also, I purchased the shiny grey finish and it’s very unique. I love it.

First time buying Orolay. Ball out of the park on this buy! You can dress this bad girl up or down! I LOVE the color!!! Can expand in multiple ways from unbuttoning at the center zipper on both sides of the coat as well as side zippers at bottom of coat. Numerous deep pockets. Nice, light in weight, and warm. Given the built in extra room, I probably could’ve gotten a large instead of XL at 5’7” between 185-195.

I was so thrilled when the coat arrived. The color was exactly as it looks online. Love the silver/grey. The fabric’s a tad stiff especially around the neckline and hood but the pockets and zipper details were exactly as I’d hoped. Sadly the fit just didn’t make it for me. It is shorter and boxier. On the model in the image it looks longer. I’m only 5’2” and the length, in front felt too short and boxy. I like a roomy oversized coat so I can layer underneath so I ordered the XL. If I was to switch it out, which I won’t be doing, an XXL would be needed. Returning to Amazon.

Nach so etwas habe ich lange gesucht! Habe normal Konfektionsgröße 42 und zuerst eine XL bestellt. Die war mir viel zu groß! Da die Jacke von der Optik wirklich toll ist, habe ich sie zurückgeschickt und eine M bestellt. Voller Erwartung kam die Jacke heute an und sie paßt super!!! Beim ersten anziehen merkt man schon wie schön kuschelig und warm sie ist. Vor allen Dingen die großen Taschen sind der Renner! Werde sie viel zum Gassi gehen mit dem Hund anziehen und hier brauche ich viele Taschen! Das wird meine super Lieblingsjacke für den Winter!

Was sceptical (and eyed the coat for like a year before finally buying), but... I'm very happy with my purchase. Took S instead of usual M, as advised in reviews - perfect size! Feels like a fluffy cloud and just tested it in -16c with only a t-shirt underneath and was absolutely fine. And all the pockets!? Super!

Ich war positiv überrascht, die Jacke war postwendend da und ich bin fast zufrieden, XL passt bei 72kg und 172cm perfekt, der Schnitt ist cool aber trägt ein bisschen auf, ein Drucker ist leider verbogen und kaputt, dennoch zu empfehlen! Die Jacke hält schön warm, ist ABER mit Sicherheit keine Daune!!!!

Nachdem ich letzten Winter diese Jacke in Beige gekauft hatte und rundum zufrieden war, habe ich die nun die dunkelgraue, leicht glänzende Jacke gekauft. Zunächst hatte etwas Bedenken, wegen der Glanzoptik (zu astronautenmäßig?, zu billig?), war aber schon beim Auspacken der Jacke begeistert. Sie wirkt sehr hochwertig, chic und ist gut zu anderen Farben zu kombinieren. Sie ist absolut warm, angenehm zu tragen, geruchsneutral und hat keinerlein Macken oder Fehler. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
