Fave daily sunscreen!
Works under makeup perfectly, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and not greasy. It does leave a white cast, however. I do like this fact since I am so pale that my skin tone could be classed as "sickly Victorian child", so it just looks like an tinted moisturizer on me and evens my skintone nicely. But definitely something to note for anyone who has adequate vitamin D levels. Foundation does wear over it well though, which could remedy that! Also doesn't irritate my eyes, I wear it right up to the waterline and have had no issues with it burning like chemical sunscreens tend to.

Works for Sensitive Skin
I ordered this product because Children's Coppertone was giving me a rash on my face. I have not had that problem with this product. On the other hand, it is very white and thick and takes a bit of effort to get rubbed in. My tattoos almost disappear under this stuff until I start blending. Maybe my family & I are just over-eager to get into the water. Works good to block the sun.

Thick
Not sure why Cetaphil would call this "sheer," as it is quite thick and difficult to spread. Takes a while to really work into my skin (I gave my face a vigorous facial massage trying to rub this in), and even then I had to add a couple of drops of facial oil to help me spread this sunscreen. I have light-medium olive skin and this sunscreen leaves behind a white tinge, but not as bad as other mineral sunscreens I've tried so I can deal with it as I prefer mineral over chemical. After a few hours, I did notice that the white cast dissipated as the sunscreen melded with my skin oils and spread more.

Overall Great Sunscreen
This sunscreen doesn’t have the chemicals that cause my skin to breakout or taste nasty if they get on my lips. It works well. It does leave a very faint film that is barely visible but it’s there.. I often have skipped the sunscreen in the past because I hate it so. I am fine using this and I will repurchase because it’s the best I’ve tried.

Only If You're Going for Ghostly
I should start by saying that I usually really like Cetaphil lotions, but this is one of the worst sunscreens I've ever tried. I put a small amount in my hand & rubbed it on my entire arm. It goes on like Elmer's glue, but I thought maybe it would follow the same path & dry clear? No such luck. It's thick (no matter how little you use), hard to spread, & any area covered turns white & stays that way. I'm fair skinned, but we were in full-on Casper territory. It also just didn't feel good (& I know that's not the purpose of sunscreen, but some aren't bothersome to wear). I was also hoping to use this for little kids, but it's difficult to apply & looks ridiculous. So no.

Not sheer, not moisturizing, but is cooling
Based on the brand and the ingredients used for a physical sun screen, I purchased "CETAPHIL Sheer Mineral Sunscreen Lotion for Face & Body, 3 fl oz, 100% Mineral Sunscreen: Zinc Oxide & Titanium Dioxide, Broad Spectrum SPF 30, For Sensitive Skin."The sunscreen is not sheer. It leaves your skin chalky. It does not go on smoothly. You will have to work very hard not to have streaks after application. The sunscreen is not moisturizing. I put it on over moisturizer as is recommended, and my skin felt dry immediately. The one upside is that the first ingredient is aloe. It does soothe your skin immediately when you are out in the sun. However, you will look like walking chalk

Works great for my very fair skin
I burn very easily and I swim lots. I need a good sunscreen. This works and stays on in the water. I put a fair amount on because I don't want any sun at all. When I first apply it looks a bit white on my face. I don't care. I would rather that than get sunburned. I think if you use less you won't see it on your skin.

Great product
This sunblock is great. Don’t need a large amount on skin because it’s thick which also makes it hard to rub in. Leaves a white casting but disappears once soaked in. Doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on skin

Strong white cast - like paint not sunscreen
This product is unscented and the ingredients are sensitive skin friendly. However, I purchased this for use as a daily facial sunscreen and it is not suitable for this. It leaves a strong white cast that is very hard to rub in, so it is OK for the beach but not for daily use. The texture is very thick - it feels like rubbing glue on your face, but it is OK once it's on.I have now switched to a La Roche-Posay sunscreen. It is not mineral based but it does a better job than this one and it doesn't irritate my skin.

Won’t buy again
Heavy white cast and not easy to wash off. Don’t like the texture and won’t buy again.
