Urth adapter
Great adapter, covers the full range up to infinity, unlike some cheaper adapters

High-quality manual lens adapter
The adapter is well built, with a solid-feeling mount to both the camera and the lens, and a satisfying, stepped aperture adjustment mechanism. The surface finish seems durable and I've had no problems with scratching and the barrel is painted black internally to reduce internal lens flaring. I haven't had any noticable issues with internal flares, although the internal paint is semi-glossy, so improvements could be made by switching to a matte-black coating. Overall, it is a good-quality manual adapter for using Sony A mount, or Minolta M-AF lenses with Sony E-mount cameras.

Overall very good and fit for purpose. Worth buying over other similarly priced options
Overall very good and the best choice for this type of adaptor. It was tested with Sony A7 Mk1 and a Leica Leitz Canada 135mm f2.8 lens. No wobble or play when attached and focused to infity and no glare from the inside of the adaptor. Its stylish and looks like a first party Sony accessory compared to the build quality and design of the alternatives available. Full Review URTH/GOBE are mostly known for their more affordable range of lens filters which i consider to be very good for the price point , competing with the chinese brand K&F. They dont hold up as well to the higher end brands such as Tiffen, LEE, PolarPro etc but they are solid for the lower end price. So with that i was interested to see how well they have branched out to other accessories. I have previously used a very cheap no-name chinese made Canon FD to Sony E "dumb" adaptor with no issues at all as both the 35mm film gate of Canon FD cameras and the full frame sensor of the Sony Alpha series match up 1 to 1, negating the need for glass elements. So after purchasing a Leica R3 i wanted to make use of the lens system on my modern digital Sony. The problem when adapting lenses is that there are so many options with varying price points, even still when adapting 35mm to Full frame - where in theory it should be cheaper due to it being a "dumb" adaptor. The build quality on the URTH Leica R to Sony E is excellent and the design is sleek, modern looking and matches the style of the Sony eco system. My issue with a lot of the other brands such as K&F, Novoflex, Fotoga, Fotodiox etc is that they all look like the same cheap dumb adaptor with a different name slapped on the box. They look very cheap (typically using basic fonts like Times New Roman) and do not match the design stylings of both the Leica lenses or the Sony Cameras. One of the other competing items is the Novoflex adaptor, which is over three times the price (£130 vs £40 at the time of this review) for what appears to be the same "dumb" style adaptor. I have read reviews online of some of the other cheaper brands having small amounts of play or the flange distance is not exact, requiring the use of a shim or being unable to focus to infitity. I know Urth/Gobe are Australian but i am unsure if their stock is chinese like how K&F all comes from china. If it is, its the best of the chinese rebrand adaptors and if it isnt, its worth supporting an independant company such as Gobe.

Leaks light and is too tight a fit for the lens. Returned
For something so simple you'd think it would be easy to get right. This one is smooth fitting the body but I could barely get the lens on. Anything that tight worries me it will damage the mount. Anyway it leaked light so only tried it the once. This was the forth of these adapters I'd tried. One by K&F with the aperture ring had a light leak but nice fit. The mk IV K&F first one ordered didn't fit the camera mount. The second one had terrible light leaks. The best one ironically is the cheapest. The Neewer one fits really nice and smoothly and has only the very slightest leak if i turn the ISO up and get it in a very precise spot with a torch in normal use it shouldn't be a problem.

Reduces the quality quite a bit
Sturdy build and good price but I found the quality is heavily reduced when using this.

Brilliant for attaching Sony A mount lenses to a Sony E mount camera
This is quite good for attaching Full Frame A mount lenses to Sony E Mount cameras. The only issue is that the electronics cannot connect from the lens to the camera with this mount, so the lens becomes a manual lens - which can be annoying for lenses with electronic focus rings. Apart from that, it is quite cheap and fits the part, so can't complain at all.

Loose fit on A6000
Although the adapter looks fine and well constructed, I found the unit to be loose on mounting to the A6000. The adapter was returned and a replacement ordered. Unfortunately the second unit was received in an unsealed box and when tested on the camera it was also loose. It’s a pity but I can’t recommend this item.

The adaptor worked amazing. Fit just right, not too tight not loose. Just perfect. It comes on an amazing small rounded package. Can’t recommend this enough. The only thing is, make sure you know this is an adaptor for manual lenses, so no autofocus, which was ok for what I needed.

I have used this almost daily for the past 3 years. I don't have any issues with chromatic abberation or focus. I have used this on small lenses like the 50mm f1.8 and larger lenses like the 100-400 f4.5-5.6. It is strong and secure.
