why is it not organic certified?

Great question! We do not have the organic certification because we use over 30 million avocados per month. Due to the volume of our orders and sales, there are not enough organic avocados in the world to make just our oil. Most avocado orchards are very old and built prior to organic certifications. The good news is that avocados have a protective skin and are considered part of the "Clean 15" and on the list of safest produce to eat even when not organic. We periodically test our oil for purity through a method called Oil Authenticity at SGS labs and, in order to ship our avocado oil internationally, it has to pass stringent tests. For international trade, we test for hundreds of chemicals, herbicides, and pesticides to make sure our oil is clean.

how much honey is in this? it would be so great without the honey..but how can i calculate the amount of sugar?

The exact amount of honey used is not available on the label; however, it is shown as one of the last ingredients used. If I recall correctly any ingredient less than 1g does not have to be listed in 'Nutritional Facts'. When I make my own mayo I use 1T of sugar. Absolutely worth it!

Tried this for the healthy fats, kept buying it for the flavor and smooth creamy texture. If you've ever made homemade mayo, it's very similar to that. It really is so good! It's pricey, so I try to stock up a bit when it's on sale, but it's worth the full price. How often is a healthier alternative actually better than the less healthy options?!?

I'm so glad I ordered 2 jars! This mayonnaise is absolutely delicious! Honestly I can't tell the difference between this mayonnaise and the regular mayonnaise. I would highly recommend this. I'm on a carnivore diet and do not eat or use seed oils so this is the perfect mayonnaise!
