So this knife/sword is exactly what it says it is. I bought it as a home defense weapon because it’s just long enough to be serious but short enough that it could be used effectively in a hallway. I bought it after dealing with a break in where I was unarmed and the assailant was not. Taught me a hard lesson.It looks straight out of the movies and feels amazingly balanced in your hands. It’s just heavy enough that you could hit someone with the dull end, but that thing is razor sharp and has retained its edge.Hopefully I’ll never have to use it besides caring for it but it was a solid purchase after going through that experience.

Look mean, but that's it! The is an expensive wall hanger. This reproduction is supposed to have a full tang, and it does. But it is not hardened steel it is soft, in fact the whole blade is soft. The metal components of the handle are sharp. The sheath is the best part of the knife. They need to take the name off the knife, because it is a disgrace to the legacy. If I could give this zero star rating, I would!
