Adapted this product for outdoor furniture support straps
Since I couldn't find metal straps for restoring a set of outdoor patio furniture anywhere but on eBay (for 80 bucks! Yikes!) I bought a roll of this metal duct strap and made my own. Cut strips to length, drilled a hole near each end and fastened a cheap eyelet rivet to reinforce it where it attaches to the springs. Then used tin snips to round the sharp corners. Works like a charm, and refitting half a dozen chairs has used up just half the roll.

Best purchase I made for my etsy store
I make replica masks on etsy (Rooker's Replicas) and have been struggling to find a good source of 1in thin metal strips to use as the clip material on the straps. Ive spent about $10ea on 'make your own cookie cutter' metal which was a pain due to having to trim off the folded over part with hand tools, so even though I only had $30 left at the time and knew nothing of this seller or anything about metal duct straps....I took the risk and bought it. As a result of that risk, I'm pretty confident that I'll never need to buy metal for the clips ever again. ^~^"The metal itself is exactly as it's described, and im reviewing from a niche perspective as im sure most of those who purchase this will be after it for other reasons, but for my needs, it is one of the best purchases I've made regarding my store and it will definitely not only save me a LOT of money, but it can be used for other things as well. (For perspective, I cut off a strip of the metal to see if my snips could cut through and that one small strip made roughly 10+ clips, whereas a $10 cookie cutter kit would produce around 20 or so. The 100ft I have will last long after my store closes, or when I die somehow, I doubt I'll ever use it all)The package was destroyed when it arrived but that's almost certainly the fault of the shipping, as there were boot marks all on it and its like it was dropped, which was a shame as the box seemed nice with built in slots for having the strips come out. I duct taped it as much as I could though but still haven't needed to get more since I cut that first strip.... over a week ago..All In all, best purchase I made for my shop. You have definitely saved Rooker's Replicas a lot of money in the future. ^~^

Don't expect much.
This was lightweight. I hope it holds my building down.

Good bang for your buck
Heavy duty strap was very useful as cross-brasing a small out building. Great value compared to similar items. Even came in a box that acts as a dispenser so it won't untangle as I use it. I have many uses planned for this strap!

Perfect for vintage chair repair
This item matched the previous aluminum webbing on my vintage patio chairs. I say to cut and sand the edges.

Obelisk project
This product was perfect to use in making obelisks for my garden. I liked that it was 1 inch in width. We found you require to clean the metal prior to spray painting. I was able to make several out of the quantity provided. I was so pleased with this product, I purchased another roll for more to make as gifts It was very economical to purchase and make your own compared to purchasing in a garden centre. I would recommend this for the DYI individual hobbyists.

Just what I needed to complete my stair project
I decided to paint the stairs leading down to our newly finished basement. However, there were gaps between the wall and the staircase so needed something to cover the gaps. After hubby decided my paint project was not a terrible idea after all, he suggested using metal strapping, which will compliment the theme. Good eye. I love the idea. I have not finished but you can get a good feel for it. The metal strapping is firm, so I have to work a little to get it to bend around and under the stair nose. I am also using decorative tacks to secure it, which I have to drill a pilot hole to get them through. Use caution: as the product label warns, the edges can cut your fingers. I can definitely recommend this product.
