This is an excellent quality product. It is so effective that I put it on monthly autoship. The taste varies from bottle to bottle and sometimes pill to pill, and it does take some getting used to. I can understand why some people find the taste awful, but for me it is well worth dealing with the taste. It has minimal ingredients, it absorbs quickly under your tongue, so it is easy to swallow. It does contain a tiny amount of dairy.

I originally gave it 3 stars due to bitter taste but the benefits outweigh it, plus you get used to the taste in a day or two. The first day of taking it, I noticed an increase in energy. The second day of taking it, the mood also improved ten fold. Cannot wait to see what happens in a week!

These can be swallowed whole, but I purchased this particular one because they are sublingual dissolving tablets, which are supposed to have a higher absorption rate (for those of us that have chronic gastritis) and I wanted to see if I could avoid having to have B1 shots. I can't speak as to their effectiveness because I only tried one and plan to purchase a different brand, but they taste like a horribly bitter pill, like literally dissolving a normal pill in your mouth. It took hours to get the bitter taste out of my mouth. And I'm not being a pansy, I take liquid supplements that do not taste good by any stretch, and they even upset my stomach sometimes. But if you are wanting these to take sublingually, I do not recommend it. There are capsules that are cheaper and higher mg dose if you just want a normal pill to swallow whole.

Gross and bitter so I tried swallowing with water and it melted before it went down. Yuk!

I do not understand why everyone is rating this supplement base on the taste not on the efficacy and quality of the supplement. I was deficient in B1 and I started using this supplement for 7 Months and now my levels are at a normal range. I agree the taste is bitter I take it in the morning on an empty and at night, it helps me to sleep better. I drink a little bit of lemon water after taking it, after a while you get use to the taste. I highly recommend it. Clean ingredients and top quality supplement.

*Please read the whole thing* These comments are not exaggerating. I cannot tolerate pills so I have cut every medicine imaginable in half. This was by far the worst tasting med I've ever had. But I got used to it! At first I quite literally had to eat a mint after taking this tablet, but a month later I don't even notice it. It's become apart of my daily routine I used to wake up exhausted, could barely get out of bed, dizzy during the day and had to take naps or drink multiple cups of coffee. Now I'm waking up well rested and I have more energy. If I go a week without taking these vitamins, I notice! This stuff is the real deal. Life changing

Before purchase I read the reviews. Taste was an issue w most. I opened the bottle and there was the smell. Knowing this I had a drink ready. I put the pill under my tounge and let it dissolve . I did not press on it or swallow while dissolving . Soon as dissolved I swallowed and took quick drink. Totally can be done. I didn’t think the taste lingered after drink. Just don’t press tongue down on the pill helps w taste. Pill dissolves quickly. I’m thankful for the sublingual option. There are not many and if flavored seems the mg are less per pill. So for the taste . If you have ever smelled dry baby formula or powdered milk, that’s what pill tastes like to me. I will do an update
