CW-XMen's Endurance Generator Insulator Thermal Compression Tights, Base Layer Pants for Skiing and Snowboarding

I bought a pair of CW-X insulator compression tights about 10 years ago. I still have them and like them very much. The new one I just bought is not as good. Does not have a pocket for my car key and does not keep me as warm. Price has gone up. Quality has gone down. Time to look for something better.

As an old 74 year old trail runner whose bowlegged knees finally made me an old hiker, my several pairs of CW-X Tights are one of my favorite pieces of equipment, especially the Endurance Generator top of the line tights. The EG tights support my knees, legs, butt, and lower back with sufficient compressiion to let me keep doing 40 miles of trails per week. The bottom line - I would not use anything else. The EGs are the most expensive model as they support and compress just about all the muscles for difficult trail hiking, but they work and I expect them to last for several years as my other CW-Xs have. If you are going to be climbing rocks or hiking/running in brush or rugged terrain, I recommend wearing a pair of shorts over the tights to protect your investment. I highly recommend this product for young and older hikers and runners. One other note - because the EGs support/compress many muscles, they are not easy for me to get on (especially the thermals). I have a 32" waist and the medium size works well for me - after I get them on. If I get another pair of EGs, I will try the large size.
