Kipling Multiple Waistbag

I bought this bag last year after I broke my toe and had to be on crutches for three months. It is very well made, as I have found with all the Kipling bags I have bought throughout the years. There is enough room for my heavy wallet, my cell phone, keys, and a few small things. The large compartment also has a zippered compartment for papers or other flat objects. I removed the Velcro from the very small pocket in front, because it took up too much space. A small snap would work better. I only use the front pocket for my pen. If you store the shoulder strap inside the bag, it takes up way too much space, so I just detach it and leave it at home. This bag adjusts to my hips very well. I like to wear it just below where the hip bone starts, where I measure 31 inches. Since it adjusts to wider widths, there is a lot of strap hanging in the back. I just wrap it back around and stuff it inside the pocket designed to hold the shoulder strap. Yes, it was expensive. I think it should be priced $10-$20 dollars less, but the quality is amazing.

i purchase the bag for a trip to china, and it seems pretty useful. it has 5 section(counting the smaller sections too), can go around my waist and/or shoulder, but the waist line is a bit too big for me even when corrected to the smallest size and i have a 30in waist. the size is much much smaller then what is described as 11 X 7 X 3, the length, at most is 8, and the height is at most 6, so it is more like 8 X 6 X 3. it's big enough to fit any wallets, passports, cell phones, etc. ideal for traveling, and i would say pretty secure too if you are worry about thief (which i am when going to china), because you can strap it on in two ways at the same time so no one can actually pull it away from you. overall, i believe it's a useful bag, but just didn't live up to the described size which made me a little disappointed...

I wanted a purse that was easily convertible from a shoulder purse to a waistbag and back to a shoulder purse. That seems very hard to find. The Kipling Multiple Waistbag does do that. But, to convert from shoulder bag to waist bag requires you to fit the waist straps into the zippered compartment in back. This takes some time to get them in and to lay flat. And, of course, you have to have the shoulder strap with you. I keep it in my car. When the purse is full and the shoulder strap is attached to either side of the purse, I find that the purse does not hang right. If I attach the shoulder strap on one side to the ring where the little monkey is attached, it hangs better. The monkey, or course, is now in a drawer somewhere. On the positive side, there are three compartments, and it holds quite a bit.A better solution for a convertible waistbag would be for the waist straps to swivel and become shoulder straps. I once had a purse that did this, but have never found it again.

Something about Kipling! I cannot get enough. I turned this into my wallet.....believe it or not. It is the best for organization with the three zippered compartments. I can take it from my purse and throw it over my shoulder and run into the store. It is light as a feather unlike my old wallet. It has a hidden belt which I considered removing so as to cut down on bulk. For now, I have chosen to let it remain just in case. I am seriously in love with this style and found you had the best price. Quite pricey out there in the department stores! So glad to find you at Amazon.

Kipling always makes the best stuff, I've always loved their products. This bag is so cute and versatile; it is a crossbody and fanny pack in one!!! Perfect size for both! I was skeptical at first because I thought it would look too big as a fanny pack, but it looks just right. On top of all of the cuteness and versatility, Kipling products last forever! They are made out of super resistant materials and the little monkey is just a charming detail on their products. I am a big fan of Kipling and recommend it to everyone :)

I love this bag!!!!!! It easily fits my small wallet & iPhone, with plenty of room for other small things. It's a great color, the perfect size for what I needed, and the seller was great with answering emails. I personally have no use for the fanny pack aspect of the bag, although those straps zip into a small pouch on the back, so I just cut those straps off, which even gave me another compartment.

This "fanny pack" seems to be well made and is pretty and cute; however, not as large as I wanted which is why I only gave an "I like" as can't say "I love". The pockets are roomy enough for the size of the purse and it fits well on my waist.

I've wanted something versatile, and which is alright if it gets dirty. I'm often walking my two dogs, and no free hands. This little purse is tough nylon fabric, and can handle anything. It's a perfect waist-bag size, and I use it like that when I'm walking dogs. The attachable shoulder strap is also enormously useful, and the waist belt goes into its secret chamber. And then, you can have NO straps whenever you like, so it works as a wonderfully roomy wallet. I've gone through a lot of waist packs and wallets, always looking for a perfect solution. This time I found it.

The bag is excellent for travel or just going out and about with the kids. It's perfect for when you are babywearing.
