PARTS EXPRESS 3.9K Ohm 1/2W Flameproof Resistor 10 Pcs.

This flameproof resistor is replacing a 3.9K Ohm "Carbon-Film" resistor that blew when a TRIAC and wax motor blew in a Maytag Neptune washing machine. When that "Carbon-Film" resistor blew on the washer's control circuit board due to an over current condition, the resistor is not only unrecognizable and in two pieces, the circuit board under the burnt out resistor has a good sized black burnt spot, too. I hope this flameproof resistor is a safer resistor should this overcurrent condition ever occur again in the future.

As described

This is a perfect replacement for the burned out resistor on my Maytag Washer circuit board. Recommend using a temperature controlled soldering station to remove failed resistor and install this replacement. Soldering stations are offered from companies like Elenco and others.

Worked for me, made my Neptune washer spin again.
