Works as its ment to only issue is it turns its self off some times when you are mid game. Good quality for not being a authentic ps3 pad.

For a third party controller, it’s surprisingly decent. It’s weighty connects immediately and feels quite natural. Plugged into the PS3 to play Final Fantasy XIII and no complaints about compatibility. Vibration feels fine and responsive. I’ve only just started using it, so can’t comment on battery life, but for the price an absolute steal.

Functions well, comfortable in the hands, good price, build quality seems fine. Although, when I tried to play Grand Theft Auto V with it on my PS3, the R2 button didn't fire the gun! Weird, because in a vehicle it did work as the accelerator. I'm only mentioning it for anyone else with the same use case.

Avoid this product, it's not fit for purpose. It has some severe input lag and can also be utterly non responsive. I don't know how anyone plays games with this thing. Returned mine immediately

I bought this as the PS4 DualShock isn't supported on some older PS3 titles, and I needed it to help assist with some multiplayer trophies without the hassle of looking for boosting partners online. A quick look around the web and it appears Sony don't seem to be selling the original one anymore (or it's harder to find). This was listed for £12.99 at the time of purchase with a 5% promotional discount, that alone makes it an absolute bargain considering the PS3 DualShock cost upwards of £50. The controller seems lighter than the original, definitely not as heavy as a DualShock 3 and more akin to the original SixAxis, but it connected to my PS3 and charged immediately and I was away after a couple of hours. All buttons feel sturdy, had no lag (playing an FPS game), very responsive and there is a decent vibration function too. My only gripe would be the thumb sticks are a little stiffer than my other controllers, though it may just be that my primary PS3 controller is approaching 13 years of wear and tear. I managed to platinum Resistance 3 using it in tandem with my main controller and it lasted the full 2 hour session, with battery status still at full when I turned the system off. I've just switched my controller on several days after last using it and it's still at full health. Time will tell just how it holds up in terms of durability and battery life, but initial reactions i'm pleasantly surprised, you just can't go wrong for less than £13.

On the whole, for the price this is a decent alternative to the now rare-as-hens-teeth original DualShock 3 controllers (which I am using to compare this controller against). It feels quite sturdily put together, looks neat, and functions well enough for the most part. The main issue I have is that the trigger sensitivity reaches 100% when the trigger is depressed by only around a third of its total travel. That means for racing games like Gran Turismo, you'll be constantly lighting up the rear tyres, or locking the brakes. The joysticks are better, but not by much - still reaching 100% before the extremities of their travel. Lastly, the vibration intensity on the controller I have received is pretty poor. Other reviews and question answers praise theirs, and maybe mine will loosen up after a few hours of use, but out of the box I can barely feel it.

Needed another controller for my PS3. I don't use it often so didn't want to spend a lot on an official controller. This has acted as a great budget alternative. Design is very similar with only noticeable difference in feel are notches on the back of the handles which comfortable fit your fingers and give something for your fingers to grip onto which is a design improvement over the official. Buttons are clicky and give good feedback when pressed and joysticks are smooth as expected. Controller is lighter than the official which can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on your preference. Only slight drawback is the battery life of the controller seems slightly less than the official one. I may be wrong as this is purely anecdotal and I've not completed any proper tests or benchmarks. Given the price it's only a minor drawback however, hence the 5 stars as it's definitely value for money.

The controller is OK but sometimes the buttons do not work when you press softly.

Buen mando de PS3 para no ser oficial, recomendado, es ergonomico, la play lo reconoce sin problemas, y le dura bastante la bateria, la calidad precio por los 15€ que suele costar es perfecto. Lo unico que tiene es que la cruceta, el boton derecho has de presionar un poco mas, pero de normal no lo notas, solo te daras cuenta en x momento muy concreto que un juego te pide pulsar poco a poco la cruceta. (o sea, que por 15 euros y por algo que no notaras salvo x situacion contada durante unos minutos de mas de 80 horas que le das de uso, pues esta genial) Hasta la fecha este es el mejor mando clonico que ay de PS3 en amazon.

Devo fare una piccola premessa: ho comprato questo controller giusto perchè il mio era ormai finito (dopo anni di utilizzo!) e volevo optare per qualcosa di non troppo costoso per giocare senza problemi. Ordinato ieri, è arrivato oggi (sia benedetto amazon prime), e cosa buona da fare quando arrivano cose nuove è testarle per vedere se funzionano al meglio. Ecco, da qui posso iniziare effettivamente con la recensione: Mi sono trovata con un joystick molto simile se non quasi identico alla controparte ufficiale per qualità di materiali, fattura e peso; è infatti molto comodo da maneggiare anche per lunghe sessioni di gioco. Per quanto ho potuto constatare, è un controller pienamente performante e con una buona se non ottima responsività dei comandi; una delle uniche effettive differenze che ho riscontrato nella mia prima seduta di gioco sono le levette analogiche leggermente più rigide dell'originale, nulla di più, per il resto mi sono trovata davvero bene ad usarlo. Per il prezzo che costa e la qualità che propone, è sinceramente un prodotto coi fiocchi. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi necessita di un rimpiazzo per il vecchio controller o per chi semplicemente vuole averne uno di riserva. 5 stelle meritate!

Ich habe lange überlegt ob ich das Original nachkaufe, weil ich in der Vergangenheit mit Drittanbietern schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht habe. Umso mehr war ich begeistert darüber wie gut das Teil ist. Optik & Design : Der Controller liegt gut in der Hand und im direkten Vergleich mit dem original ist es ein tick leichter aber kaum bemerkbar. Wegen der Wölbung auf der Rückseite ist die Bedienung and das handling bei längerer Nutzung sogar etwas besser zumindest für meine Hände. Optisch gibt es sonst kaum Unterschiede und die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Verbindung: Der Controller hat sich kabellos gut mit meinem PS3 verbunden. Es gab keinerlei Probleme oder Fehlermeldung, eine reibungslose Sache. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meiner Kaufentscheidung besonders bei dem günstigen Preis. Sehr empfehlenswert. 👍
