The best gaming/computer monitor i've ever owned!
Are you having mixed feelings about getting this monitor because of reading positive reviews only to be followed by a few negative reviews? I was too. I did so much research on the cheaper G-Sync monitors I could write a paper. One thing I've learned over the years, you have to take product reviews with a grain of salt. Everybody will have a different experience no matter if it works great or not. With that being said.....My straight out of the box and booting up my first game on my full HD, 24" G-Sync monitor-----One thing is for sure. They package it VERY well. The box itself is HUGE! Not so much because the monitor is big but the packing material and the stand take up the majority of room. There wasn't a single scratch on this thing. Perfect condition. Assembly was super easy as well. I really like the look of the monitor too. The red feet give it a very aggressive sports car kind of look. I wish the bezel around the monitor was thinner like my IPS monitor but I can look past that no problem.First boot up----I got everything hooked up. I used the included Display Port cable. The monitor booted straight up no issues. Once I was looking at my desktop was when I started comparing this monitor with my HP 24" 60hz IPS monitor sitting right beside it. Right out of the box factory settings, this monitor is VERY bright. That was the very first thing that stood out to me. The colors on both monitors didn't exactly match either. Now it really isn't fair to compare color quality of a TN panel with an IPS panel. IPS will win everytime. SO.....lol, I did what pretty much every person did in just about every review of this monitor has done and adjusted the picture and color settings. I then tried to adjust using the Nvidia control panel picture settings. I was able to make the black colors look more black than grey. I lowered the brightness quite a bit. I was finally to a point where I was okay with what i was looking at. And just so you all know, this is my only true gripe. I purchased this monitor knowing that the color wasn't going to be as good as my IPS but I was okay with that.....because then while I was in the control panel I turned the refresh rate up to 144hzG-SYNC!!!!!!!I mean wow! As soon as I set this monitor to 144hz, it was like I was taken to a whole new world of eye candy. It made me forget that I just spent 30 to 45 minutes trying to adjust the color of this beast. If you have a normal 60hz monitor and you move your mouse across the screen, you will notice that it gets blurry. When you move your mouse over a monitor that is 144hz, it stays in clear focus. It made me smile from ear to ear. I had not even started a game up yet and I was already excited by how my mouse looked on this thing lol. With that being said, the first game I booted up was Fortnite. I also play Rocket League and WoW, but for the sake of popularity I'll use Fortnite as the example. As soon as the starting area loaded up in my first game, i instantly noticed the difference. Jumping around, turning, shooting a people running around...all of if happening at 144hz with G-Sync. It was smooth as butter. 100% beautiful. I honestly felt like I was more accurate as well shooting. Also, the color in all my games look just fine. Its almost like your desktop uses weird colors and then you start up a game and everything looks fine lol. Odd to say I know, but that was my experience.Sound quality (like anyone buys a gaming monitor for sound quality)Not gonna lie. The speakers on this thing are bad. They do work. It's just really poor sound. Personally, I would have been just fine if this monitor came without speakers so I truly don't care. I use a headset anyway. But yeah if you must know, the speakers suck lolOveralIn my opinion, if you want to enter the world of 144hz with G-Sync, and you don't want to throw your bank account into panic mode, then I would 100 percent recommend this monitor to you. For the price, it's amazing. Playing a game at 144hz is a life changing experience. I haven't experienced any dead pixels or lines or anything like that yet either, though I have only had this monitor for 2 days as i sit here writing this review. I'm perfectly confident that it will be just fine though. Like I said, you will read so many mixed reviews your head will start spinning like mine did. You will truly never know what it's like unless you get it yourself. This bad boy has my approval.

Great product! It was worth the $380. Here is my review...
This is my first time purchasing an expensive monitor, and prior to the purchase, I was looking for something with 144hz refresh rate, G-Sync, aesthetically pleasing, and something I can brag about to my buds! I will attempt to keep this review unbiased, because this IS a complete upgrade from my old monitor...Shipping Quality: β β β β β /5I wanted to highlight this criteria because there are so many reviews that said they received their monitors damaged and they had to return it multiple time, etc. This personally made me really uneasy. However, I took the chance, and got lucky(?)! I used amazon prime's free, 2-day shipping over the weekend, and the package was well handled; all was perfectly fine! The monitor comes in 2 layers of boxes, then covered in hard foam, along with its counterparts.Image/Screen Quality: β β β β /5Upon my first day of use, there is a noticeable light bleeding, ONLY WHEN THE MONITOR IS BOOTING UP. This seems to be a common issue with other reviews as well. I am only docking one star for this problem, because everything else works flawlessly! During gaming or browsing, it really isnβt noticeable, I can assure you that. The monitor also has plenty of options for brightness, and warmth, saturation, etc.Hertz, and OC: β β β β β The 144hz refresh rate, works as advertised. It is also super simple, and intuitive to overclock the monitor to 180hz via the monitor internal settings, and I haven't had an issue thus far. (Feels like butter compared to my previous 60hz!)G-Sync: β β β β /5Don't get me wrong here, G-Sync has proven to be an amazing feature in my current experience! I am docking a star here, because while turning G-Sync on, there is a disconcerting amount of stuttering going on with the monitor before it settles down, and runs smoothly! You have the ability to turn it on and off freely, however it stutters a bit when you turn it on, like I mentioned. Biased portion (sorry): G-Sync feels AMAZING, and I'm extremely satisfied with how it looks. Spending the extra $200 to slap a label on the monitor was totally worth it. You wouldn't believe how much of a difference it makes when you have no screen tearing. I highly recommend it for this!Stand Quality: β β β β β /5It feels like a gilded metal base, with a reassuring backbone. You have the freedom of rotating, or pitching your monitor in multitudinous directions.Gaming (elements combined): β β β β β /5I use a gtx 1080 ($2000 PC custom build) and paired with this monitor, playing games with 0 screen tearing honestly feels great! Csgo, Destiny 2, Overwatch all feel amazing with the monitor, and personally, I feel like I have really made a huge leap with my custom build. The only game that has acted weirdly with G-Sync is Hearthstone (CCG), it took me a few tries, but eventually I had to lock the framerate to something stable so that G-Sync wouldn't stutter. After that, all worked well. On a side note, browsing the internet and moving around things on the desktop feels like it should. Five stars!Speaker Quality: β β /5The speakers sound extremely funneled behind the monitor. I will stick to using my personal, cheapy $20 pair of desk speakers!Overall, I am extremely happy with the monitor, and i'm glad I bought it!
