These are my husband’s third pair over the years and he loves them. Very durable, lightweight and they fit perfectly.

Incredible... seriously, I'm not exaggerating. Best in the industry UV A/B/etc protection and polarization, and I can tell it as soon as I put it on. It gives my eyes immediate rest from harsh Californian sun. And Hawaiian sun too, when I'm on vacation. This is my second pair, and I can say that back 5+ years ago, they (MauiJim's) were a bit darker than current model. But it is OK for me, they still provide exceptional comfort for eyes. Nylon frames are very durable and will last couple years with no problem. This model is perfect for people with round, or oval faces, like mine, so, I highly recommend them. FYI: Once you had them for a week, or so - there is no way going back to other stuff!!!! You will not want to wear anything else, but MauiJim!!! Trust me :) This way I "hooked" my wife on this particular model. She got couple other brands, but after wearing (LightHouse) for several weeks, next time when it is time to put sunglasses on - she picks MauiJim without even thinking twice... subconsciously, I guess. :) For best experience..?

Light weight, quality construction with premium materials excellent protection from sunlight

Kinda flimsy decent optical quality. Have oakley flack jacket sunglasses have slightly better optical quality. But very light weight and for being flimsy they hold up because the plastic allows bending.

I could never bring myself to spend this much money on a pair of sunglasses. Something I could easily lose. I found that when someone (girlfriend) talked me into splurging on a pair of Oakley glasses back in they day, I took extra special care of them to not lose or damage them. Fast forward a decade plus and I just happened across these and was astounded by how light they are and comfortable. At the time I was away for work and driving long distances frequently. I could wear these without any discomfort for hours. I made the mistake of taking them on a trip to Ireland and lost them on the very last night. So I bought a new pair right away. Those ones broke in half a year later and while I meant to send them back to Maui Jim for warranty/repair, I had trouble locating date of purchase (mall sunglass hut that closed). I opened a warranty ticket, but a death in the family, sorry I shouldn't mention that, caused me to simply forget about them and then I needed a new pair sooner than later, so I bit the bullet and bought another pair. I still have the broken ones sitting in a return box a year plus later. These sunglasses are worth that much that I'm not even too upset about the pair that busted in half less than a year into ownership.

Superb build quality. If you aren't familiar with the brand these sunglasses are perfect for casual or sporting purposes and extremely light with parts of the frame being rubberized in the perfect spot so they never fall off (of my big head at least). As an added bonus you get a cool Hawaiian looking soft case and a very high quality chocolate colored hard case with the MJ logo.

Very happy with the fit and comfort of these glasses. They don't put weight on my ears or cause headaches. They're so light I barely notice them on. These are great hiking/sport glasses - I would recommend a second pair in a lighter lens color for cloudy days.
