I'm on the fence about these brakes
Installed these on my 80 Camaro with a 3.73 Posi. They are riveted and the lining itself looks like good quality metallic. After installing, it was VERY hard to get my drums on- and yes I know all the tricks and mistakes, it's not my first brake shoe rodeo. I looked closely and the shoe linings are very thick in the middle. Maybe too thick. I had to have the adjusters backed completely off and they still got very hot with too much drag. I took it apart and sanded the shoe linings to remove some material. Seemed to have helped somewhat. I'd buy shoes locally next time so you can take them back easily if there's an issue.

Rivited shoes, genuine Raybestos
Perfect match for the shoes on my 1969 Olds 442. I always trust Raybestos. Product matched pictures and description perfectly. The shoe material is riveted, which is what I wanted.

not bonded, these are RIVETED, safest way to go, I had one become un-bonded and almost jerked me into coming traffic, rivets are best

They are Chinese manufactured, to be honest I'm not totally excited about Chinese sourcing on "mission critical" items. However they look like a decent part and work as they should.

Does what it should
Arrived quckly but was not re-boxed for protection, the shipping label was on the original box so the item was visible to everyone and not protected. The shoes look solid and of good quality. Fit is good but they went on my hot rod and I haven't driven it yet so I can't say much about performance... although they are Raybestos so they should perform perfectly.
