AWESOME! I can wear NORMAL SHOES AGAIN!
I have never found an insert that actually worked well enough to say my feet 'didn't hurt'- NOW I HAVE! They do take up a decent amount of space in the shoe, so ones that aren't very deep will likely not be able to accommodate them and your feet. I actually measured my shoes: I have 'thick' feet and my shoes that were only 2.5" deep (or less) will not work, 3" or more were perfect (measured without any insole). These take up about 1/2" of insole space, I could put my shoe's original insole on top of them- but they were far more comfortable without. I was truly amazed at the width difference between the two! I was certain I needed to trim the Polysorb insoles width-wise: NO WAY. These totally provide support to the sides of your feet that most 'retail' shoes do not. (Thus the discomfort when I added the original insole for 'extra' padding- my foot was wobbling in that extra space)I have always had to wear super expensive orthopedic shoes if I was going to be on my feet for much more than a run to the grocery store or so, at least if I wanted to be able to walk the next day anyway. Much more than an hour on my feet or two miles walking and I would be in agony. I do not have fallen or high arches, and I strongly recommend anyone having foot issues either go to a Dr, or at least do the 'wet foot' test to determine your type of arch. I thought I did have arch issues since it was the arch of my foot that was KILLING me- but 'arch supports' were useless (and sometimes very painful).I have tried nearly all of the 'walking shoes' on the mainstream market (Sketchers, Nike, Reebok, etc.) and each lead to horrific pain so they sat in my closet. I promptly put these inserts in within 20 minutes of their arrival- NO PAIN whatsoever. I have not put them to the ultimate test: I work at a school so I spend 6 hours a day on hard surfaces and I walk 3-4 miles/day, but I have done enough walking to say that these make a HUGE difference: I have worn orthopedics ONCE since they arrived (and that was because I really wanted to wear sandles that day).

Perfect Workhorse Insoles
These go in every pair of shoes I own. I keep a pair around to replace worn out ones or go into new shoes as needed at all times.I've worked as a valet for the past 5 years, and these are indispensable to me at work. I buy quality shoes, but the insoles even in them only go so far. I've tried a few different inserts, etc. but these work. After 10-12, and occasionally more hours standing, walking, running, sure my feet are tired, but not the sharp pain I'd get before. I've put these in work boots, hiking shoes, and somewhat dressy shoes with outdoor tread. These are shoes from Chippewa, Irish Setter, Timberland, Danner, Wolverine, Merrill. All of them have been more comfortable with these insoles.Keep in mind that these will generally take up more space than the stock insoles, and make your shoe tighter. Depending on the shoe and how it fits, I sometimes break the shoe in before putting these in, at which point it fits more like when new.Overall, these are a fantastic, durable increase in comfort for just about any shoe. If you have custom built, perfectly fitted shoes, you probably don't need them. If you buy your shoes at Payless and spend most of the day sitting, you're probably also fine. But if you spend the day on your feet, even if you buy good shoes to begin with, these are more than worth the money. Expect at least a year of service from these for work only, and no less than 6 months if you wear one set of shoes heavily, for everything, in that period. I've done it.Finally, I do have fairly strong arches, and don't need much if any arch support. There is some built into these, but I can't really comment on its effectiveness.

Very comfortable, good arch support, way better than Dr. Scholl's
I have pretty flat feet, these inserts have pretty good arch support, so this helps a decent amount to relieve back pain and general pain caused by walking around without proper arch support with flat feet. That all being said, I have seen complaints about them being 'too thick.' Yep, they're somewhat thick. However, that extra padding is what makes them nice and comfy. Unless you are a woman with high heels and you jam a pair of these bad boys in your shoes, it is hard to see these causing too much of a problem due to their thickness.I have only had them for a few weeks, but they still feel quite nice and I hope the continue to wear well and stay comfortable. I was going through a pair of Dr Scholl's 'Oder eaters' literally every 2 weeks. The oder eaters started comfy for about a week, then absolutely fall apart - with the rubber wearing down to nothing (and coming off in chunks), and the fabric wearing down to the rubber. I also tried a pair of Dr. Scholl's 'massaging gel' inserts. The first day they felt absolutely great. However, after probably 3 days or so they utterly fell apart (and those cost probably 15$/pair!). Literally, the 'gel' just kept breaking off in chunks. Awful waste of money. Maybe because I'm a big guy that these fall apart? I don't know, but not acceptable. So far, the spenco's have held up perfectly. No real signs of any wear yet.So, to conclude - very comfortable, so far they seem durable, and good arch support.

Too expensive now, thanks to tariffs
These work really well, and I've been buying them for years. Today, thanks to tariffs, they are 30% more expensive than when I bought them last year. Will now shop around for something more affordable.
