A good purchase
I don't understand why people are having trouble with the instructions on putting this together. Just take your time putting it together and make sure to not scratch the surfaces and your golden. Assembly time was a couple hours due to the many pieces involved. Very sturdy once put together, even though I didn't use the supplied glue. Desk has enough weight to it that it's not going to move around on you from pushing yourself back from it. I really like this desk. Got it for a triple monitor setup for gaming and couldn't be happier. Keyboard tray is large enough to accomidate a keyboard and a large mouse pad and tucks away nicely. The back end of this desk has a rather nice sized hidden compartment for cables as well as a built in surge protector with 4 connections for power, 1 for an ethernet cat5 cable and 1 port for your desk phone. The compartment has a lid on it secured with a couple hinges and a couple cut-outs for routing cables from the compartment to the top of the desk. The drawers are nice though I wouldn't put anything to heavy in them. The top drawer has four dividers in it for separating your office supplies as well as four cutouts in the back of each slot for things like thin cables. There is a glass window on top of the desk so you can see whats in the top drawer. The second drawer is the same size minus the dividers to accomidate larger office supplies. The bottom drawer is the largest with a couple bars in it to accomidate filing folders, or the bars can be left out and used as a bin. The size of the entire desk was perfect for what I was looking to do with this desk. My only complaint is I wish the top of the desk sat a little higher as the office chair I'm using doesn't have adjustable arm rests and even at its lowest hight, the chair doesn't fit completely under the desk when not in use. Also note worth, this desk does not have a back plate on the back of it so your feet can extend beyond the back of the desk without kicking anything. Another side note is if your looking to get a monitor mount, a clamp style mount will not work with this desk as the back is a few inches to large for the typical clamp to mount on to. If your setting the desk against a wall, a wall mount would work better, or you would need a mount with a stand that sits on top of the desk. Overall, easy assembly, looks nice and very versatile to many different uses.

There's no hole but I'm sticking the pointy end in anyways.
1/28/2019 Update - purchased this item on June 5, 2016.So I've had my first major problem and it's with the keyboard rails, the left rail is now bent making it hard to slide the keyboard tray to have it fully extended. Looking into buying new rails but it's not the end of the world.A lesser issue is because your wrists end up resting on the keytray lip (something I did not like) the lining starts to wear away exposing a rough patch which is pretty annoying. This can be slightly delayed by flipping that piece of wood over but it's only a temporary fix.Overall this desk has been great, I spend 6+ hours a day it on with my PC, 2 monitors, and my computer on top (not much room because of my choices) and it is still solid with no issues. The 3 drawers work fine, supplied surge protector works fine, glass is fine even with my tv stand running partially over it.There's a good chance I would buy this again when I need a new desk.-------------Took about 4 hours to put together, followed the directions completely and it all worked out. Some bad parts of the assembly were towards the end. The drawers don't have hole in them to put the rails on so you have to make 18 holes yourself. As someone who doesn't put much stuff together, mashing the screw into the wood and slowly making a hole for it kind of sucked. It might of been easier with power tools but you can get by without them. Not shown in the photo is a lip on the keyboard tray. It may not matter to some but I chose this desk over another because the other had the lip.Overall I'm happy with the desk, I've got my TV, monitor and my computer on it with room to spare. Thinking of grabbing a third screen.I'll update when something goes wrong or I get mad at it.

3 things wrong with this product.
Cons: Not compatible with Logitech Powerplay mousepad (mouse pad doesn't fit because of the powerplays cord). The bar at the front of the keyboard tray scratches the bottom of your wrist. The Cupboards get stuck on the side and doesn't close all the way. I even paid for them to come and put the entire thing together.Pro's: Looks good.

Great desk great price very durable!
The media could not be loaded. The desk is solid I love it! I recommend you lay out all the parts, get all the necessary tools which is basically a drill with a Phillips head and you really take the time to look at the instructions look at the pictures everything’s all there in detail. The only con I see is the instructions are a bit overwhelming for some people, especially when you lay out all the parts to the desk.I think it’s more mental, some people just can’t handle the effort involved and shut down when they see this thing. They automatically think it’s going to be a nightmare, however it really isn’t!It was fun putting it together and seeing it take shape.I’m not the most patient person by any means but I gotta say, I’d rather put this together than some of the ikea stuff I’ve encountered ha ha!

Nightmare assembly
Nice looking, but scratches very easy. Lucky it is even somewhat put together. Most difficulty assembly ever, and we do Ikea assembly. Horrible, inaccurate instructions. I would not recommend because of this.
