This Bamboo keyboard and mouse is neat and nice.
Sengu SG-KU308-N+MU1055-N 2.4GHz Full Bamboo Handmade Wired Multimedia Keyboard and Mouse Combo(3 Key Pads)I bought the above item from Amazon. My first time buying things in Amazon too. :)The bamboo keyboard is in very good shape, easy typing and work smoothly. I like it very much. It's appearance is great too.It took 7 days to transport to my home (Hong Kong) which in HK i can only buy this same kind of bamboo keyboard in a much higher price.Thumbs up.

Cool looking but unusable. Dumpster fire product
*final update mouse is not functional now. Lags and stops and shuts off randomly. Just buy something else*Update, i took off the key that wouldnt work properly and the keyboard is functional so im bumping my rating up. The design is still flawed but i support using bamboo rather than plastic as a renewable alternative. So again the keyboard is now 99% functional as well as cool lookingCouple buttons stick makes this completely useless. Cool looking but non functional with a sticky enter key.

Dangerous for Me
I liked the idea of a bamboo keyboard and mouse, I want a keyboard without the extra numeric keypad since that just wastes desk space, so I thought I'd give this one a try.Updated: I've left my original review at the bottom, but I've dropped two stars and am adding some new discoveries inserted here:After one month, I have discontinued use of this keyboard. The most significant reason is that the use of the keyboard caused the skin on my fingertips to fall off. This symptom appeared approximately one week after starting to use the keyboard, and persisted. I initially attributed it to some home repairs (drywall and painting) I did about the time I started using the keyboard. However, the problem persisted. After one month, I stopped using the keyboard, and the condition disappeared over the course of the next two weeks. The most pronounced impacts were on my right index finger (which is the primary mouse finger) and the right thumb, which rests on and types the "space" character. I would speculate that I am sensitive to bamboo, a chemical used in finishing the bamboo, or residual abrasive embedded in the bamboo during finishing. (I've never had any issues with other bamboo products). In any event, I will not use this and would encourage others to be cautious. There was one other additional defect I noted: the left arrow key was sticking.... Original Review ....Pros: Nice appearance and feel (and for the keyboard, the perfect size). Good travel and resistance on the keys. Mouse wakes up with the slightest pressure on the wheel. No difficulty pairing with the included RF dongle.Cons: One functional defect - the embedded numeric pad is unusable: when Numlock is active (embedding the numeric keypad within the alpha keyboard, as is common with laptops and other small keyboards), the keyboard often inserts extra strokes - the non-numlock character. (instead of "1", "j1" is inserted, instead of "5", "i5" is inserted.) "Often" in this case means more than 50% of the time. If you never use "numlock", then this obviously is not an issue. There is an LED on the top right of the keyboard, but it seems to have no purpose related to keyboard functions. There are no indicators for Caps Lock or Num Lock.Key marking is very uneven. The characters are engraved and then stained. While the engraving is aligned, the staining is not at all consistent. In some cases the characters are almost black, in other cases there is no color distinction between the keycap and the character.I'm so-so on the keyboard layout. Nice big Backspace and Enter keys. The home position keys "F" and "J" are marked with engraved "smileys", which provides appropriate tactile feedback for the touch typist when your hands are properly placed in the home position on the keyboard. Even though this is different than the bumps on most keyboards, it feels natural. Alas, the space bar is shifted to the left a bit too much due to the layout of the bottom row, and my thumb barely hits the spacebar when touch-typing. In the home position my thumb sits between the space bar and the "Alt" key. The "Del" key is in the bottom row, to the right of the space bar, rather than at the top right where it is found on my other mini-layout keyboards.Batteries are not included; you'll need two AAA batteries for each device. The sliding door of the battery pocket on the keyboard has no overt retention mechanism other than a slight interference fit with the batteries. I was concerned about how freely it opened (tilt the keyboard, and it would slide open or closed, depending on the direction of the tilt.) Once the batteries are installed, they provide sufficient friction to prevent this undesired motion, but the door still opens readily with slight pressure when it's time to replace them. The mouse is good but has unusual dimensions when compared to all the mice I've used in recent years. It is quite short front-to-back, but rather tall. When using the mouse, only my fingers fit on top. It is not uncomfortable, just different. My wife has smaller hands, but she made the same observation. Time will tell whether this is acceptable. It probably would not seem so unusual if it wasn't so tall. I measured two other desktop mice as 4.5" long each, my travel Bluetooth mouse as 4" long, and this Sengu mouse as 3.5" long. The travel mouse is 1" high, the desktop and Sengu are all 1.5" high.

Easy to use
My husband loves this although I work from home more than he does. Easy to use. My only "complaint" is that the delete key I have to search for (it's at the bottom) and the space bar is a tad small.

the mouse feels very nice in my palm
I've been using this keyboard for about two weeks at my office. I am a civil litigation attorney and so I write a lot of briefs, motions, pleadings, etc. at both the trial court and appellate court levels. I type on average about 75 WPM.MOUSEPros: The feel. First, the mouse feels very nice in my palm. I cannot really describe the feeling but it feels warm and smooth and is the most comfortable feeling mouse I've held. It is very responsive and accurate. I have absolutely no issues at all with the mouse. It looks great and functions perfectly. The Mouse is a five star mouse!Cons: None.KEYBOARD:Pros: The keyboard looks great and the way it feels against my fingers is pleasant. Much like the mouse, the keys feel warm and smooth and I really like that. I am also a big fan of eco-products. I use coffee bean paper for envelopes and sugarcane paper for printing. So that is certainly a big pro in my book. Most of the time the keyboard is highly responsive without any dropped letters. I call it ghost strikes where I press the key but no letter is transmitted to the document I am working on so I have to go back and press it again. It has a dedicated calculator key which I like and some media keys but I don't use those very often. But I do use the calculator key often so that is a nice feature to have.Cons: Ghost strikes a problem though. While it doesn't occur all the time, every single day I have encountered an issue where the keyboard will just kind of take a break. I'll hit the key five or six times before the letter appears on the document I am working on. This will last for about 30 seconds or so and then the keyboard will go back to working fine. The spacebar - The spacebar is much smaller than a normal one, but I use my left thumb to hit space anyway so that is not an issue for me. Those that tend to be a right thumb space striker - you'll want to stay away from the keyboard. There is not delete key in the top right. It is fine, there are delete keys elsewhere, but I'm quite used to hitting the delete key with my right pinky finger. So this was kind of an adjustment.Overall - the keyboard's feel, look, and generally responsiveness outweigh the annoyance and inconvenience of ghost keys. However, in my world, where typos are generally frowned upon, having to second guess your keyboard is never a good thing.

Nice looking keyboard for the living room
We have an entertainment computer so this keyboard hangs out on the coffee table. It is so much better to look at than a black logitech. Everything works as it should. It takes some getting used to for the keys are big and all feel about the same. I probably wouldn't like this on a computer the I do a lot of work on, like typing letters, but maybe with some getting used to.

Beautiful but not worth it!!
The keyboard and mouse both quit working after two weeks of work!! Totally not worth it and VERY disappointed since it was a gift.Space bar is also located in a bad location and not long enough in my personal opinion!!So very, very disappointed!!!!

Mouse has died
The wired mouse had stopped clicking after the first 6 months. The scroll wheel squeaked loudly as you used it. The keyboard is still working after 2 years.
