I bought it to use electronic devices that I bought from other countries.It was delivered perfectly in a very nice package.I had a hard time carrying because it is very heavy.It works smoothly without any problems.Yes there are some noice but its not much to bother me.Size is not small.It is really versatile product for me because I have many devices from another countries.

I had 220V weigh scale purchased from India. I was looking for safe and reliable product. As it was related to electricity. After performing deep search and reading lots of review. I concluded to buy PYLE product. Product is nicely built and anyone can operate even who doesn't have enough technical knowledge. When I turn on the voltage convertor. The first thing impressed me is product is silent. No humming sound of transformer at all. That means transformer is built perfectly and no worry of over heating the product and no power losses. And this product can be used anywhere in the world. Input voltage selector link is already set to 110V US voltage. So no need to worry about it if you are in the US.

This is a wonderful choice for every home. You don't have to worry anymore because any appliance use 110 or 220V, whit this converter you can easily fulfill all your expectation,. easy to use and really functional.

Since Amazon is forcing me to “edit” this review, but they provide me with a blank page instead of MY REVIEW to “edit” I guess I’m not going to waste my time writing a real review. Here are the Clifs Notes. Did NOT come with “extra fuses”. Does work. Also the long video review I made for this has disappeared from my photo app, so can’t share that or pictures either. Anyway…. the converter works and I do recommend. Thanks for wasting my time, again, Amazon.

I was first very happy to find this, and it was from Pyle. Anyone who does much with audio has heard of Pyle. So I though - this is safe to buy. And it has some great features like the tap changing. But when it arrived, I was very disappointed. The initial impression is that it feels well built, except I could not find any UL mark / label anywhere. UL (and ETL) means that a product has been verified to be safe from shock and fire. The reason for no UL was evident after I decided to open it up. The protection fuse is an improper instrumentation size fuse (5mm x 20mm) and not a full sized AGC (1.25 inch) or equivalent rated fuse/breaker. And it blew while I was using this - due to the transformer's own inrush current. No load was attached! Just turned it on. Pop. The fuse is not slow blow for the transformer inrush. I was going to modify the fuse and holder to make it usable and then noticed that the transformer is not varnished. Every transformer shop I have ever worked with said that varnish is necessary to complete the insulation of the windings. So - project ended. I don't want this plugged into the utility continuously under the desk.

I bought an amplifier online from Deutschland. When it arrived I realized I needed something to change the 110 v from the wall mains to something the amp could use. With the Pyle PVTC320U I was able to step up the voltage with no problem. I was worried it would make the amp sound bad, but there is no hum that I can notice. Construction feels sturdy and quality.

Quality assemby need to be better even for suck somply item. While the first I've tryed it (imortant ajust back selector to input power in your country), the USB was not functioning (the RED LED blanked once and went off). Being acqualified ENG (more than 35 years) I've opend the case and noticed one of the power resistors cold soldered. Following other possible issues I resoldered it and that solved the problem. Kindly please tell the supplier to enhence his QA onspections.

I recently acquired a micro-stereo with an EU/UK plug on it. The stereo has no voltage switch built in so I needed to find a way to make it work. A little research showed that the Pyle Step Up and Down Transformer was the answer to being able to use it. Within 3 minutes of delivery, I was in business. I only needed to move the pin on the back of the transformer to match our 110V power, then plug the transformer into the wall outlet and turn it on. After that, it was just a matter of plugging the stereo into the 220V outlet on the front of the transformer and powering on the stereo. Perfect. **And, yes, the transformer *stinks* right out of the package. Yikes! But the smell dissipates soon enough!

Works good :D happy with product .. have lot of items which run on 110v from North America also has plug for 220v :D ..

No es un articulo portatil, cumple perfecto con la funcion de incrementar voltage hacia arriba o hacia abajo, mas no lo regula, osea si tu voltage de suministro es malo, despues de este equipo seguira siendo malo, pero sube de 110 a 220 o baja de 220 a 110 sin problema y tiene mas variantes osea por ejemplo hasta 240 v o 120 v

I just received the transformer. After installing it to power up my subwoofer I noticed the hum from the transformer (which is located in my entertainment console) is perceptible in my living room. If you don’t mind that the transformer is easy to set up. My only complaint is that I did not receive the 2 spare fuses as stated
