Trefl View of Cappadocia 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Red 27"x19" Print, DIY Puzzle, Creative Fun, Classic Puzzle for Adults and Children from 12 Years Old

I have done a multitude of jigsaw puzzles, at least 30+, in the past 1½-2 years. They were from different manufacturers like Ravensburger, Clementoni, Buffalo Games, White Mountain, and Educa. Some have very good to excellent quality, others fair to good. But the Trefl puzzle I am working on is by far one of the worse jigsaw puzzles out there. The pieces are very sloppily cut which means they are loose and can easily be placed in the wrong location. If you work on a section off to the side, even a small section of 6 pieces, do not expect to be able to lift them without having them just fall apart. The puzzle I am working is "View of Cappadocia" which features hot air balloons hovering over landscape and in the sky. The sky ranges from very light whitish blue to purple with white wispy clouds. While doing the sky sections I was repeatedly pulling out pieces that seemed to fit perfectly but we're incorrect. It was a real struggle but I finally got down to a section of 6 whitish blue pieces and... they did not fit together. So now I have several pieces in wrong locations, yet everything looks like they fit together fine. I've since put the puzzle aside because it is near impossible to locate the errant pieces. Luckily, no missing pieces. Several reviewers rated their Trefl puzzle more than 1 star yet reported missing pieces. Why would you rate more than a 1*?Because of the significant sloppiness of the cuts I know that gluing the puzzle, if I can ever figure out the pieces situation, will be messy because the glue will ooze between the pieces and go through to the backside. I had an Educa puzzle, which has poor quality also, that ended up glued to the board underneath because of sloppy fit. If you're a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast and have never done a Trefl, I urge you to not even consider it. There are better brands out there.
