Like another reviewer on here said, its pretty easy to break, as long as you keep the handle flat with the band as you get the filter off, your okay, if you have to bend the handle do get it into hard to get to filters (pretty much 90% of cars these days) you will break it. The small inch long metal piece the lower clip clips into is its weakest link, if it didn't have so much play in it or was made thicker or designed better, it would be a nice tool to have in the do it yourselfers garage. Whoever designed this tool didn't use it to change oil or they would have seen it doesn't work very well.Still think its a neat idea, but if its gonna work in the real would, they need to redesign it and actually use it changing oil.Bottom line, don't buy it, doesn't work at home or at the shop, if you need a set, get the Bergen 4pc set on Ebay and then get the small one at auto zone for $10, or just get them all from the local parts store or on here, the ones on the tool trucks are the same, just way more expensive with their names on it, waste of money.

I purchased this last august. It broke back in December. It broke at the handle where it connects to the band. I wrote the company and Amazon and neither one got back with me about it. Ended up throwing it away, so you won’t here anything from Amazon or the company that has it for sale on here for any warranty replacement. Go with lisle, I have yet to have one of those break.

I think there is a design requirement to put oil filters in the worst place imaginable on four wheelers or side by sides. On my Yamaha Rhino I can't think of a worse place to have a filter. I struggled with it for years until my neighbor loaned me his swivel oil filter wrench. Reaches into tough places and grips like magic. I bought this later that afternoon.

Exactly what I need(ed) for the Racor fuel filter I need to replace every year. Different sizes are good for other things like trailer master cylinder caps that may be stuck on after some time.

It was a 50/50 taking the chance to buy these and I’m glad I did. It saves space in my box for one, and second, I’ve done about 10 PM’s with them and it’s all good so far. I really cranked on them without a single slip or damage to the tool. The paint on them must be some crazy strong, new age stuff. I brake clean a lot of my tools when I’m done with them and nothing has come off so far.I really have nothing bad to say; The pins are super strong and just the product itself is. OEM gets more business from me after this purchase.

For someone who relies heavily on Amazon ratings prior to purchasing, it is about time I started contributing. I have decided to start rating every product I have ever purchased here all the way back to 2005.This should be a good deal for a do it yourselfer but for a pro like me, it is not suitable. I bent it on my first try on a military 7 ton truck filter. I had to send them back

I like the different options in size. Covers lots of sizes. Great tool to have.

Good for tight spaces where you cant get a thicker strap around the filter. Although I wouldn't recommend using them for heavy duty applications as they aren't that strong.
