A neat little book. Concise yet sufficiently informative.

More like a reference manual...
Clearly if youd like to know about every investment option known to man, including its founder, history and overall strategy, then you've got a winner. The title is a little misleading since the beginning/average investor may feel overwhelmed with a plethora of knowledge. I've learned that confused minds tend to do nothing. It's only in the last 5th of the book you receive steps to measure personal risk tolerance, financial goals, and asset allocation. While very informative, I was expecting a little more content like the last few pages, rather than a comprehensive list of every investment tool. I would have preferred a more strategy based approach on investing.

Great book to start understanding investing
Before reading this book, I was quite ignorant about investing and its terminology. After reading this carefully (twice), I feel I now have a pretty solid grasp of concepts that used to be Greek to me. So I highly recommend. Before reading this book, I read the author's other book, Infographic Guide to Personal Finance, which was very helpful as well. After reading both of these books, I met with a financial planner at my bank and was able to articulate my financial situation and goals. I would not have been able to articulate these had I not read this book. After that meeting (which was fruitful because I studied this book in advance), I now feel empowered to make sound financial planning decisions.

Decent book if I didnt have prior knowledge
A tad repetitive and most of the stuff I’ve learned from TikTok or YouTube prior to reading this book. However, I did find one valuable concept from the book.

A pretty good, thorough, plain-spoken introductory book.
Bought this for my DIL, who will be managing most of their assets. I skimmed through it, and my impression is that it covers all of the major basics, is presented without a lot of jargon or unexplained acronyms. A good, broad-based introductory text.
