Silicone Grilling Gloves

Even my kids use them now. The gloves are great since they are not mittens. The grip is solid and they are very heat resistant. They are easily cleaned with soap and water and the size is great for a person who wears a size medium rubber glove. My husband wears a large rubber glove and these SO DO NOT FIT HIM! If your looking for a heat protective glove, these are easy to use and comfortable with the material lining.

I got my first flat top grill and I was cooking more than the food, especially when I was seasoning the top. I ordered these and I'm very happy with them. They fit well and I can grip anything.they were a little stiff the first few times I used them, but after that they become easy to use. I did get quite a bit of oil on them once and wasn't sure if I could get it out, but Dawn and good old warm water under the kitchen faucet and they cleaned right up. These are cooking gloves, if I stain them and can't get the stain out, i don't care as long as I don't cook my hands and arms. The price was great for the pain relief, very heat resistant, unless you keep your hands over the grill for awhile.

I purchased this kit about a year and a half ago. Everything is still in the same condition has when I got it out of the packaging! The meat claws are AMAZING! They work for any type of meat and makes shredding easy. The brush has been used many times and gets the job done. The gloves were on the smaller side but still works. I have used these gloves many of times in the smoker and they hold up great to the heat. They are hard to feel and grip though. All in all i rate a 4 star for the quality and the meat claws! I love them things!

Smoking meat on my kamado is a hobby I indulge in periodically, especially when my grown children and their families come to visit. I have a heavy leather pair of gloves for working with the lump charcoal, grill grates, smoking wood, etc., but was looking for something to help me when pulling something large (I like to cook 17-19 pound beef briskets) off the grill to either wrap in butcher paper or transfer into a cooler to test. Looking at the black nitrile gloves I thought that would be perfect, as I see a lot of the BBQ employees in Austin TX wearing them. As I researched those I came across these Walfos Grilling Gloves and decided to give them a try. I've only had 1 opportunity so far to use them, but was immediately impressed when maneuvering a 19 pound brisket (at 4am after being asleep for a couple of hours) to get it wrapped in butcher paper and returned to continue cooking. I was able to pick the meat up from the grate, wrap it, then get it back in for another several hours of low-and-slow and never felt as though I was losing control of the meat. If you've ever had one "jump" from your hands unexpectedly, you know what I'm talking about. When I was done handling the meat all I had to do is run them under water with some soap as if I was washing my hands. Set them on the towel to dry and that was all there was to it. Since I didn't buy them for any purpose other than transferring the meats, I can't speak to any extended heat resistance that may be provided. I have other gloves for that that work just fine. I can say that if something happens to these, I will not hesitate to replace them with the same. They're also a great gift idea for the upcoming holiday season for my friends that low-and-slow too.

If you like to cook large cuts of meat on a smoker, then these gloves are a great thing to have. It makes some tasks so much easier and safer. These things are nice heavy quality, and are limber enough to grab a rack of ribs off the grate to wrap in foil or reposition. One weird thing, not the fault of the gloves, is that my cats love them too. I have to store the gloves where they can't get to them or they'll pull them out and chew them up. It's not meat smell on them, I clean them well - and it even happened to a new unused pair once. They just love the silicone for whatever reason.

These gloves work great. Heat resistant and grips really well. No worries about dropping anything. The meat shredders come In handy. Love them

I use these strictly in the kitchen. I am not a griller. They fit my hands well, are very soft and flexible, have a nice fabric lining, and protect my wrists from bumping the edge of the oven racks. Also protect from any hot liquids. Very easy to clean with soap & water. I hang them by the stove with the loops at the wrist edge. Quality product. I bought a different pair before these and had to return them. The inside openings of the fingers were so small I could hardly get my fingers into them and they were very stiff. It would have been hard to grasp a baking pan by its edge. These are much better!

The inside insulation of the glove can pull out and separate from the silicone fingers when you take them off and then they're difficult to put back on. It's pretty annoying, especially if that happens while cooking. They do work and let you grab hot stuff.

These are quite different from the 'ove" glove. Much better insulation from heat at the cost of being less tactile. I'll take the less likelihood of burns over feeling every time. They seems very well made and I can see them laasting a long time. I've only used them in the kitchen so far, waiting for warmer weather to use them whils BBQing but I think they will be really good for that with the longer arm protection. I'm really happy with this purchase.
