Very nice tool at an incredible value
I've been using this kinavel 4 beam laser for a big house leveling project and I've been very impressed with it. The functionality is very well thought out, it feels like a high quality product and I have no idea how they can sell it so cheap.Pros: The beams are very bright and clear. It's intuitive to use. It's survived a couple of small drops in the dirt. The remote is very handy. The second battery included means you can use it all day with no downtime. The adjustable base is very useful too for dialing in a reference mark. The manual is clear and well illustrated, light years ahead of typical import tools.Cons: it's not immediately clear how to remove the battery for charging. The manual doesn't mention it. You need to press on the indent and pull the pack straight back. It's not the best retention system, but it works. The pack out case feels a little thin, but the foam is very nicely fitted. Not really much to complain about at all.I recommend this one highly!

You will never get anything straight without one of these.
It saves massive time and the battery lasts forever. Before buying it, I started with a 6' level to try to get a line to work to around the inside perimeter of a 2 1/2 stall garage to lay the sheeting right. That doesn't work. One might say that's the way people did it for years. It still doesn't work. You get to the other side and you run into the floor. How do you find the mid-point without a lot of work? With a laser you can see and adjust the height that works for the entire perimeter. Walls aren't straight either and some studs are off. The easiest way is to set a vertical line where your screws are a centered as possible. If you make everything level and square, you won't have any gaps at joints and always line up with studs. The walls not right, you can confine the custom pieces to the corners while keeping the pieces in the middle so dead square that you can't slide a business card between any horizontal or vertical joint. You can measure from the laser line in corners to get the angle perfect. Works perfectly on stairs also. You simply top it past its ability to level and work to the line. Once you have one, you will never work without one.

Excellent product for a good price, but extras aren't great
Overall, this was an excellent purchase. As others indicated, the "extras" are low quality and not terribly useful. However, many brands seem to have this issue. If you need brackets to attach to wall etc., you'll either need another brand or (better) to get a good-quality universal attachments set.As far as features, quality & accuracy of the main device, they are all excellent. Even comes with two batteries in case you're using for long periods or want to always keep a full battery. Attached to regular camera tripod.I almost returned mine as I couldn't figure out how to put in lock mode for angled lines, and my question wasn't answered by the seller. Turns out you need to hold the button down for a few seconds while the device is OFF (the main power switch is what locks the lasers in place). For less than $100 for a level with 4 green lasers that worked flawlessly, this was an excellent purchase. Used for installing a drop ceiling, which came out perfectly level.

This is adjustable! If you are adventurous...
While installing a pool I was using the laser to make sure all of the wall sections were level and I knocked the level off of the top of the wall. It dropped about 4 feet and hit the hard clay floor of the dig. I didn't think much of it and put it back on top of the wall and continued. When I got back to the other end of the pool (40 feet away) it was showing 1/2 inch low. I spun the level 90 degrees and it showed that it was level, another 90 degrees and it was 1/2 inch high. So I figured I messed up the laser level in the fall. I opened it up (had to peel the sticker for the control buttons back in the 2 corners) and inspected it and was pleased to find 1.5mm hex cap adjusting screws on each of the 4 lasers.WARNING!!! there are extremely thin copper wires that connect the gimbal system to the body that you don't want to touch and break. They power the lasers and are thin so that they don't limit the gravity leveling of the gimbal system. They are about the thickness of a strand of hair. They are so thin that I don't think that even a person skilled in soldering would be able to repair them. SO YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.I marked the line of the level across my living room (about 30 feet) on a post-it note stuck on the wall with the level aimed at 0 degrees (battery away from the wall with the post-it) and 180 degrees (battery towards post-it). The proper level will be in the middle of the 2. So I gently adjusted the hex screws (loosen one just a hare and tighten the opposite one the same amount) until they laser was at the same height at both 180 and 0 degrees. Then I turned it 90 degrees and repeated the process. Then after getting all 4 directions to hit the same spot on the post it note. I slowly rotated it 10 degrees or so and confirmed that in all directions it was hitting the same height. So I now have the top horizontal laser within a 32nd of an inch at 30 feet.I then repeated the process on the lower laser (one of it's adjustment screws is only accessible with a L shaped Allen Key the others are easily reached with a screwdriver with a 1.5mm hex bit). With the hard to access screw I was only able to get the bottom laser within an 8th of an inch at 30 feet before giving up. But I'll just use the top one until I get a tool that fits better to adjust it more.Sorry, I didn't think about taking picture until I had it back together. I was just happy that I could get it back into calibration and not have to buy a new one.

Perfect for my DIY uses
Solidly made aluminum body. Easy and intuitive to use. I didn’t know these existed. I just finished a kitchen and it would have been great. The uneven floors require much more thought, planning and effort before installing cabinets. You have to know the high point in the room in order take step one. I’m now doing our master bath. - my fifth bath. And I know from the past that lining up tile on the wall and putting mud in for floor is much easier with this. Mud floor has to be consistently level against each wall so that cement board can have a uniform gap for tile to avoid wicking and eventual destruction of your project. Drawn lines disappear once you put mud in. This allows you to see a consistent line.
