The Taliah Waajid Curls Waves Natural Curl Defining Creme is a great product for enhancing natural curls and waves. I've been using it for a while now, and I'm really happy with the results. It helps to define my curls, reduce frizz, and adds a nice shine without making my hair feel crunchy or sticky. It's also very moisturizing, which is important for my dry, curly hair. I apply it to damp hair after washing and then either air dry or diffuse. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts a while. If you're looking for a product to define your curls and keep them looking healthy and hydrated, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

For my type 2C, thick, coarse, low porosity, frizz-prone hair, this is by far the best styling product I have found. First, let me state volume is not my problem -- I have too much hair that tends to go too big and poofy unless I weigh it down with moisturizing products and control gels. (It is possible this curl cream could be too heavy for finer hair.) Before finding this product, the only way I could get defined curls with minimum frizz was to wash every day and use my styling/control products. I use this curl cream to get defined 2nd and 3rd day curls. Contrary to the curlygirl rule of never combing through the hair, I gently comb out all the tangles, after which my hair becomes a frizzy, wavy cloud around my head. I push/scrunch the hair toward my scalp which gets the curls re-started. Then, I apply of a small amount curl cream to my hands and very quickly smooth my flat hands over & down the top surface of my hair (without any scunching or finger-combing!!) and then shake my hair to let the waves contract into loose spirals. I then flip my hair forward and do the same thing to the underneath strands of hair, smoothing the cream quickly from nape to ends of hair, shake again and flip the hair back into place as I stand up. Without any more touching of the hair, I just shake it a little and then leave my hair alone. My hair feels soft and does not feel coated with anything crunchy or stiff, though there is a sense of a light protective coating -- hard to describe. I've never found another product that does anything like this. For my hair, it is absolutely not greasy in the slightest, and there is still movement to my hair without being "flyaway" at the slightest breeze. It doesn't produce shine. All it does is completely control my frizz, define my curls, and keep my hair looking groomed, with good curl definition, for the rest of the day. After day 3 there is a feeling of build-up, which means it is time to wash. Less is best with this product -- it takes very little to accomplish the task.

Thick and very high quality. I use it with leave in conditioner and my coils looks very defined.

It dehydrated my hair a lot so just make sure you put oil in your hair after or wash it out with a very hydrating shampoo. It is very nice for the price. It’s average size. it definitely has bounce and curls up not tight but very bouncy. lasts all day

This stuff is amazing, I really like it. I normally do twist outs and was looking to try something new. I love the consistency it’s thick and creamy. I have course low porosity hair and this coats and moisturizer my hair very well. A lot goes a long way, I don’t have to use as much product as I do with other curl creams to fully saturated my hair. I apply a small amount and seal with glycerin and my curls look amazing the next day. One thing that shocked me is I had little to no shedding. I use a detangling brush to help run the cream through my hair and my brush is free of hair…..nothing! I will definitely purchase this product again.

Hands DOWN the best product for the best curls ever. It's veryyyyy sticky when applying and then leaves your hair as if you had put in conditioner. My tip is make sure your hair is wet when applying and use your hands to scrunch the entirety of your hair for the most curls. Let it air dry and BOOM, the best, softest natural looking curls. Buy the big tub, you won't regret it.

I love how the product smells, but the first thing that caught my attention after applying the product was how heavy it was on my hair. Eco Styler gel leaves my hair crunchy, but it does not weight the hair down like that. This product is not a gel. It has a creamy consistency and it is very moisturizing. I would never recommend this product to somebody who has 4c hair type like mine. My main reason is because the product will turn your Z shapped curls into 3c curls after you apply it, then your hair will turn into an Afro with very little curl definitions after the product dries out. If your hair type is anywhere between 3a and 3c, I would recommend this product for wash and gos.I did get some curl definition with this product, but the curls did not last. Even my two-strand twits did not last a very long time after leaving the product on my hair for ours. The product is too expensive and it takes to long too dry. The cream gets really messy if you sweat before your hair is completely dry. It also left my hair very dry after I washed it out.The bottom line is this product was not created for all hair types. I believe that women with looser curls will benefit more from Miss Waajid's products.
