I absolutely adore Greek Baklava, so my husband bought me this as an after Christmas treat, yes, I am spoilt 😁. I happened to see how much he paid for this tin of Baklava and baulked at the thought, but it arrived just now and let me tell you that it is QUALITY Baklava and easy to see why it costs a bit more than locally produced Baklava. The Baklava is super moist without being wet and sticky, looks very appealing in that each variety has different colour and texture. There is a selection of 6 rows each a different variety. The flavour is divine, nutty , very tasty, worthy of the price indeed. The syrup is evident in the sides of the inside of the tin, but the Baklava itself is not drenched in the liquid goodness. This is dangerously moreish so beware. This beautiful embossed tin arrived in a double wrapping of plastic and in a branded stylish outer cardboard box...very well protected top reserve the delights inside. 10 out of ten 👌👌👌

The baklava was delicious but be warned there are nuts on top of some of baklava pieces that have not been crushed. This may sound odd as Baklava is full of nuts!! I can only eat very small sized nuts due to digestion BUT this is NOT the fault of the sellers. If I had looked at picture closely I would have noticed.It is a fab gift as it’s presented in a tin box, keeping it fresh. The tin also is covered with plastic wrap for health and safety! The tin is crammed full of these delicious pieces of decadence. What I couldn’t eat was certainly munched up by the family. I’ve seen the price of baklava locally and it’s more costly! When I’ve mentioned this to my local seller he says “expensive to make and time consuming”, I fully understand this but why trouble myself in going out to buy Baklava when I can order it from this seller! It would be great if the seller did a variety of baklava in one tin without big nuts…. This is my opinion only!! I will buy again but will have too share. Please try delightful, delicious and fresh. There are two types of Turkish baklava. This one is dry (kuru) baklava which has a longer shelf life compared to the ones prepared in bakeries with one week shelf life. I must say this is a great example of dry baklava, syrup is just right amount of sweet but not overwhelmingly too sweet. The pastry and pistachios are fresh and crispy. The package is made from a tin with a beautiful panaroma of Istanbul. This would be a nice house warming gift. I read some negative reviews commenting about it but I understand they misinterpreted this as a bakery baklava, and I wanted to share my views as this is an excellent example of its kind and worth every penny.I am sharing also photo of the box we just opened :) Thank you for having this quality product on Amazon!

These are a bit more expensive than some, but are well worth the extra. You get a good selection of high quality, fresh baklavas. They come in a nice presentation tin, rather than just plastic packaging.

Amaizing for the price. My husband Is a massive baklava lover. I have ordered these for him 3 times, he said it was the best he had and every time is the same, worth every penny. Please don't change your formula. Amaizing value. 😊
