If you need it, then you need it.
These work great. Full 10Gbe line speed. Easily connect and disconnect. Cables are plenty flexible without feeling cheap. Once you plug them in you just forget about them, which is exactly what a quality cable should be. Dependably forgettable.

Very good quality and high speeds.
This DAC 10Gbs cable for SFP+ worked very well for the switches and NICs I've tested it with. It gave full speed transfers at 10Gbs without any issues and had a very low latency. Currently using this cable for connecting a workstation to a NAS via iSCSI and it is working perfectly and allowing for fast data transfers faster than having a local SATA SSD HDD.

Convenient short run direct attach copper SFP+ cable
I occasionally have to test network switches at home, and this SFP+ cable makes it easy to do the 10gig port testing. The cable is fairly slim, allowing for airflow and flexibility on cable runs - I can run from a rackmount switch in my home lab through the rack door to my workbench, for example, to run a computer against the switch for testing. I usually don't need active DAC so this provides most of my needs at a very good price.

Works great for me, no issues!
The was well packaged. It arrived in a large antistatic bag. The connectors had protective plastic covers on them.This cable slots well into the SFP+ ports on all of my devices. It has good flex to it and the cable itself is quite thin.I connected the cable to a testbench PC and a Dell R820. I was able to get 9.27 Gbps through this link using iperf3. I'd guess the lesser throughput comes down to the interfaces and not the cable.At the time of writing this review, the price of the 1-meter DAC cable was $12.34 including a 5% coupon. That price is pretty good compared to the competitors (10Gtek, TP-Link, ipolex) here on Amazon. It's not the cheapest cable out there, but I think for what you're getting here the price is justified.
