It fills a niche between thick ropes and flimsy ropes.
I like that it is thick enough and sturdy enough for most jobs but not as bulky as a thick rope. It it priced attractviely. It was delivered promptly.

Works well for what I bought it for.
I bought this rope to make corded bowls. It is high quality and just the right weight for my sewing machine. The size is accurate and it looks so good when yhe bowls are finished. It is easy to use while dying the rope. I love it.

Thinner, stinkier, and weaker than advertised
When I opened the package it had a very strong smell of chemicals and just generally gross. The rope is also not a 1/4" as advertised. It is somewhat stretchy and will not work for what I bought it for...

CHeck the sizing you need. .
As expected. However I did not get the initial size (diameter correct). Thus had to get another bigger one.

OK Cord, but not Cotton and not nearly 6mm
I expected 6mm / 1/4 inch cotton cord, as advertised. Instead I received a blended cotton/polypropylene cord with 3/16" diameter or less, certainly under 5mm, and almost half the expected weight per foot. The packaging misleadingly indicates it is #6 rope, which should correspond to a full 1/4" (nominal 6mm) diameter. I can perhaps use it for random cordage purposes, hence 3 stars, but not for my actual application which needs a full 6mm rope.

This rope is just what I needed for making sturdy bowls. Color was perfect.
