Amazing cctv camera for the price. Easy to set up and use via the Ezviz app.

This is a great camera. Has been used for personal cctv and the footage quality is brilliant. Several police commented on the quality of the picture and sound, the imaging and the ability to zoom in during a live video or a recored one There are many wonderful features like motion alarms and two way talking through the video. You are able to connect it to your phone via an app. I pay £3.99 for 7 days storage recall and I have 24/7 surveillance. You can record sound and visuals alter the angle of the camera and pan it around to see other areas if needed in whatever setting you use it in. You can expand the storage and use a micro sd card or pay for the 7 days and nights recall for 3.99 as I said. I got it as I had an issue with a neighbour who made death threats against me and tried to set my property alight. Thank god I had it as I also uncovered a human trafficking ring class A drugs and a fugitive on the run from prison. All wad assisted by having this camera which picked up conversations and police were able to ID several wanted persons from the footage that was captured. I paid £18.99 for this baby monitor and police said it was better than most shops and commercial properties have. So I bought this because I was unable to get a hold of the Dekco indoor camera, which would have been great to have in addition but sadly I cannot. The software is the biggest issue with this camera oh and picture quality when it’s dark. The video quality isn’t the best and can be pixelated which is frustrating. Also loading from the SD card is slow and often pixelated even on 1Gbps internet. The motion detection is good because it does pickup anything and everything, that’s about it. The tracking feature I’ve had to turn off because even though I am pressing left to aim it towards a certain area, it will move and then go slightly a little to the right, if I try the right then it will move a little left back which doesn’t help and then if you go to far it fully turns around.. very annoying so I’ve had to turn the tracking section off and manually move it, which gives a better camera angle and does not have the above bug. The software as well is buggy. On the 16 pro max it freezes at times and if you are accessing a feature, the page will be blank and bugged out or even you cannot press the back arrow, forcing you to force close the app and reopen. There tons of settings hidden all over which makes it a little confusing at times with what you are looking for in what specific area. With an SD card installed, I also noticed that if the armed status is on, it will send notifications and record under the library to view BUT this is often missing certain parts, making it annoying so you can delete them BUT if you press the camera so you can see the live feed, there is more clips on that area that CANNOT be deleted but often has more or longer than the other recording. It’s all sorts of weird. On top of that, any clips you do have on any date cannot be saved to a camera roll, again frustrating. The overall experience is fine if you wanted a cheap indoor camera. It does what it says at minor frustrations which is the 4 not a 5, I was tempted to give a 3 but it’s close! Laggy menus, not so good picture, buggy features, horrible audio sound, features lacking - All at the time of this review, it’s a 4 out of 5 stars for me. It’s alright for what you want to a degree once you push past the issues. The sound quality has a very weird complex. Sometimes it’s picking things up which sound horrible and when picking up things close it’s very holo and not quiet right. Not the best for audio either. Personally I am not a fan of the camera and wished I opted for something better, if Dekco has an indoor camera I will jump instantly because that software works like a charm and it’s just a better device. It is a cheap indoor camera which is fine for the very limited use. I would not pick this product or further products from this supplier.

For a budget wifi camera costing £23 (sale offer) its not bad. Just not sure whether its a keeper. The PQ is fine, it can take micro SD cards so you dont have to pay for the cloud storage. It has motion tracking which a lot of other cameras in this price range dont have albeit the tracking can be a bit eccentric. Has an ethernet port that you can use if you have the facility to hard wire it to your router as well as the WIFI option. At first it would not take any of the MicroSD Cards I had. After inserting the SD card the right way what you have to do is on the app on your phone go to the main screen where it shows your camera with the serial number. Refresh the screen by gesturing down the screen with your finger (like a normal refresh) from the top and then it recognised the SD card had been inserted. Went to the storage screen and it let me format the card even my 256gb one. The field of view is also okay but its not a fish lens and its not that wide. I guess this is where the motion tracking option comes in as when you enable it (after you figure out how) it would track motion and therefore make up for the poor FOV. Also its not quite evident how it records. At first I thought you could set a time schedule but there is none I can see. Basically with cloud storage enabled or the microsd inserted and formatted it enters "Record Mode" there is just no visible sign in the app its actually recording unless you check the video history where you see it is. Its not something you can turn on or off unless you remove the micro sd card or turn on/off cloud recording. Could do with an inbuilt web server so you can get the recordings off that way without removing the Micro SD card, plugging it into your PC etc but then again what do I expect for £23 ?! :) Didnt use the cloud option although you get 7 day free trial as I turned it off and just let it record to the Micro SD Card. Two modes either record just events - basically when it sees motion or record all the time.

Upsides are that it is cheap, and has a nice long cable, and micro SD card works. Downsides, it doesn't seem to record very well when using infrared overnight, a bit hit and miss, also, it's mains only, so need to locate near a powerpoint which may restrict where you can place the camera. However, what is recorded is clear, and "live" viewing is good quality as well. I wouldn't recommend, but I use mine to monitor our cats overnight, and it's ok. Update 18/01/2026 - It's still working, and recording OK. Replay is not very good, and is slow. Update 09/03/2026 - It's still working, and recording OK. Replay is abysmal. Update 10/03/2026 - Replay not working, so have given up, and it's in the bin. Avoid

Very satisfied with quality. Camera clarity is good. Sound mike is quite sensitive. With the mobile app, I am able to control all functions easily. Two way communication is also good.

I really like this EZVIZ indoor camera, especially how well it works with the Windows app. The setup was simple, and the app interface on Windows is smooth and reliable, making it easy to monitor my home from my PC. Very nice indoor camera with colour video recording. It works on wifi as well. Easy to install and two way communication is nice feature. You can tilt/pan it from remote device. Value for money

Build quality is better than realme camera, it has more features. Motion detection is very accurate and it has cloud storage option but you should have credit card for subscription. Microphone quality of camera is beyond expectations you can listen vicinity sounds so clearly even birds chirping, moreover you can listen to those sounds which have very less db. Camera speaker quality is superb. Last but not least setup is very much easy. Go for it without thinking twice.
