Get the other themes of poke a dot instead
Like the poke a dot concept but this book is big and bulky with spine damage inevitable. What makes this one worse than the others is despite the fun monster concept the illustrations are very samey with all the monsters and pages looking alike

Heavy and big book
My son loves the poke a dot but this book is big and heavy( shaped like a brick), not one you can toss in your bag. My son loves Halloween so I had to get him this but if I knew how big and heavy it was I wouldn’t have bought it. It’s a cute story/ pictures.

Fun While Reading
This is one of five books like it that I bought for my nephew. He loves books and he loves pushing in the poke-e-dot to get the sound it makes!! It helps to keep his attention on the book. The price is reasonableu hmm

Fun book but quality control is off
Kids love the book, but many of the buttons are not centered correctly and will not pop or stay popped. Which frustrates my almost 2 year old greatly.

Great for kids
LOVE THESE BOOKS! My littles all love these books so much! Keep their attention for up to an hour at a time and goes back to them constantly. Only downfall is the pages come apart from the spine rather easily.

Not at all durable
I have purchased several of these books for my 5 grandchildren. They love them, but they are destroyed in no time at all. This doesn’t happen with their other books. Very poorly made. And they are heavy which may contribute to their early demise. It’s sad because kids love them!

All diet culture negativity
Dislike. The entire point is to shame the little monsters for eating too much candy and rewarding the one who followed the Mom’s food restricting. Horrible diet culture message for kids

If you’re wondering how to keep a toddler entertained this is it! We bought this for a long car ride for my toddler and he loved pushing the pops over and over again! Super cute book!
