My husband and I bought a floor model sofa about 2 years ago. It started going flat after a year and for the last year we discussed ways to improve it. Our sofa was getting so uncomfortable it was hard to sit on without getting a sore back, butt or both. We decided to try and redo the cushions. I went to my favorite craft and fabric site and found this same piece of foam for $149.99 plus shipping. Decided at the last minute to see if Amazon had it. I was pleasantly surprised to see it here and so SO much cheaper. After letting it set out for 2 days I cut it and stuffed them in the couch cushion covers. AHHHH! They are firm enough to give back the support we were lacking but not so firm as to be uncomfortable. This was a great find and an even better purchase, so glad I got it. Feels like we have a brand new sofa again.

I do a lot of urban camping in my Ford Ranger. I built a sleeping platform in the truck bed. This pice of foam makes a fantastic mattress. I weigh 225 lbs and normally with foam rubber I find that with my weight it bottoms out at my hip area. Whether I'm on my back or on my side. And. I end up with a paper thin pice of foam rubber between me and the wood platform. However, this pice of foam rubber is the perfect desisity and it keeps my bulk suspended off the wood. No matter if I'm on my back or side. So, now I get a nice peaceful nights rest.

I bought this to make a bed for my aging Samoyed. He does not like warmth and sleeps against our outer bedroom wall. All the dog beds are too wide to fit that spot and/or they are not long enough for him when he stretches out to sleep. This was perfect & he loves it!!!! I have a blanket over it so not an eyesore. It is very well made - can see it will hold up and last a long time.

I was replacing a cushion with a 5" foam inside (that was delicious according to my dog). I had to start from scratch by making an insert of foam wrapped in dacron and sewing a new cushion out of a microfiber faux suede to replace the old leather one. Microfiber isn't cow flavored like leather so I am hoping this one lasts longer. I bought the 5" medium density sheet. Even though I used the exact measurements of the old cushion when making the new cover, and I replicated the foam and dacron insert as exactly as possible, this one didn't squish down as much and was really tight in the cover. It was way too firm when I sat on it and barely compressed beneath me at all. It may be because it is squished into the cover so much. As with the old one, the five inch foam is in a cover with 4 inch sides so that it is completely filled out. That might be a factor, but even right out of the box this feels really firm. I contacted the seller to be sure I had gotten the right one since they aren't marked. They were polite and assured me that I had received the medium density. I have re-ordered a regular density that is only 4 inches deep, so I am hoping that will work better. This is a quality product and the measurements were very accurate. My only complaint is that it seems more firm than any sofa cushion I have ever sat on.

This piece of foam is exactly what I was looking for and the price was amazing so I just had to have it. We are actually using it for the back seat of the truck for our dogs. They needed something sturdy but yet comfortable to elevate the back seat so that they are able to look out the windows and put their paws on the console without falling off the seat. Shipping was very fast and the measurements given on the site were exact. Thank you.

I ordered this foam to replace our couch cushion, which was 5x24x60. This product is working great. It was VERY easy to cut with an electric kitchen knife, and there was little to no mess when cutting. It is definitely firm, but we don't find it uncomfortable. I wrapped it with batting, which softened the edges. I may go back and add some fiberfill for a softer top layer, but we are happy with it as is. It arrived within a week. I did let it sit for a day before using it, but it expanded very rapidly. We did not detect any annoying smells, and I am typically very sensitive to them. This was definitely a cost-effective way to fix an otherwise unusable couch.

I needed foam for a project so I scowered Amazon and even went to the craft stores. Even with craft store coupons the foam there was ridiculously expensive. Then I found this chunk of foam, read through the reviews and it was exactly what I wants. It's very dense and after covering , it's like you are sitting on a expensive European car seat. My foam pad was a inch over in length and exact on width. After a month of daily use the foam still feels like new.

Very nice product as described. Perfect for the outdoor sofa I am making. Two things are worth mentioning. As in previous posts, this stuff is pretty firm. So if you are not looking for a solid firm foam look for a lower density. I hope it will break down and soften just a bit. My only other, slight, complaint was with the packaging. My 30 x 72 x 5 sheets were wrapped so tight in tape/vacuum pack that they didn't recover as well as the 24" sheet. Not bad at all, just not that perfect rectangle. Once I wrapped in quilting you couldn't tell anyways.
