ive bought 3 of these, they are unbeatable for the price great children's tablet very durable. can be reflashed easily and can add functionality, these are old however they are commercial grade tablets so they are great quality and durable mine had no signs of use!

Seeing as this was refurbished I didn't know what to expect. My unit came in pristine condition, though it was not assembled in the rugged case with the stylus, and no packing material was used - it was all chucked into a box... I ended up putting it in a Cooper backlit keyboard case to make a mini laptop. Apart from adding a stylus loop to hold the pen everything worked like a charm. It ran Andr OpenOffice and that was all I needed it to do. The stylus was sensitive and worked well too.

I got this to use as an ereader, because there are no waterproof readers not locked to a single seller currently available - unlocked or waterproof, but not both. I like to read in the bath, and have accidentally knocked my reader off the tray a couple of times, so waterproof is mandatory.I have not tested the waterproofness yet, but the "wet touch" feature, using it with wet hands, has been good.I uninstalled almost everything it came with and took the rest off the screen, then installed my reading apps, no distractors.The Kobo app won't install because the version of the OS is too old, but I have plenty to read from other sources for now.It's heavier than a dedicated ereader, but not too bad.Mine did come in an appropriate case, with a branded wall plug and branded pen, but the pen is not the model that stays in the case - it's too small and falls out. Since I don't actually plan to use it, this isn't a problem for me.If I could give half stars, this would be a 4.5 star rating; I'm happy with it overall, with a few minor quibbles.

Even though this tablet is “out of date” it’s still more than adequate for everyday activities. There isn’t a ton of storage but you can add an SD card and fix that pretty quick. The spen is awesome and the fact that the case and pen are included makes this an absolute steal. I’d definitely recommend this over some cheap budget android tablet since it’s got premium features, waterproofing, and a pen included, all for under $100.

Buyer bewareGot the renewed version to save a couple bucks as this is limited use tablet and it was definitely not as advertised. Tablet is clean, but listing clearly shows it with a rugged case/body that it did not have and did not come with genuine samsung accessories. The wall plug is 3rd party but so was the included pen. The pen is exceptionally cheap, despite the fact that when it fell apart after 30 secs of inspection there was an old Samsung note pen stuck inside of it. Disappointing to have to buy a $20 pen and case on top after trying to save some money. If it doesn't have original parts or match the advertised display images/description then it should say that.

I got the tablet with a pen and a charger, but there wasn't a slot for the pen. I guess that's with the case sold separately... I would also recommend getting a micro SD card as the storage of 16gb isn't a whole lot of space. I already have one, so that's not a problem for me. The pen comes with replacement nibs and a tool, so that's cool. The camera on the back takes decent pictures so that's pretty nice. All in all, I mainly got it cuz I drop things easily, needed a tablet, and have a limited budget..:) It serves all the purposes I got it for, so I am satisfied and keeping it. Hope this review helps you decide if it's one that would work for you.

Seller indicates Ruggedized Tablet but the tablet comes none Ruggedized. Just the plain tablet (Which will break if lightly dropped), Pen, charging brick, and charging cable. You do not receive what is shown in the images.

It is not the heavy duty Samsung with case n pencil as promoted. However it is a very nice 8” tablet that looks like it is in great shape. Good buy for the price.I think they send out random returns so you get what you get.
