Love Cricut Smart vinyl!
I don't get to use my Cricut Joy often - I am an occasional crafter - but I do have some experience with older cutting machines like the original Cricut and Silhouette. And using Smart vinyl in the Joy is SOOO much easier!! This particular vinyl is a good color. I wanted a darker, more muted red than the basic red, and this is just that. If you want a bolder jewel tone I would suggest the burgundy color, not this dark red. This one would look dull compared to the burgundy.
