I'm extremely happy with my purchase...so far
Ok so let me just start out by saying that I have been researching reverse cams for about 2 weeks before this purchase. I have read countless reviews for about 30 different cameras. Wireless to wired you name it. I decided to settle on this one. It is inexpensive and I figured hey, if it's a piece of crap I'll just send it back. So anyway, I received it today (3/17/17) and installation was a breeze. Me and a buddy hooked this thing up in about 2 hrs. I had to drill 2 holes. One above my plate where I wanted to mount the camera to and one under the carpet in my trunk to feed wires to because there was no hole already.I wired it to my reverse light in about 5 minutes. I guess I'm lucky that my reverse lights are on my bumper on both sides of the plate and not included in the tail light assembly. I didn't have to sift through a hundred wires. 2 screws and popped it out and only 2 wires, positive and negative. Ran it through the trunk and along the a-frame and under the head liner in the front to the mirror. Painless. Still have a 6 feet of extra wire. Kudos to Pyvideo for making the cable extra long. That was one of my concerns based on a lot of reviews I read...cables weren't long enough.I opted for the factory style camera instead of the long, ugly and unsightly one that mounts to the top 2 screws of your plate. It looks good. Image looks decent but not the best which is why only 4 stars. At night it's a little grainy. Overall though I am happy so far. Image pops right up as soon as I put her in reverse...no delay.Obviously I can not speak to the longevity of the product as it has only been installed for about 5 hrs. Hopefully it is actually waterproof and does not fog up. That is another issue I seen with a lot of cameras I researched according to reviewers. I am planning on buying a product called never wet by rustoleum and coating it with that to ensure it is water proof. Also, I put some silicone around it and on the top of it so water won't drip down. Anyway, so far so good. I will keep this updated if anything goes south.See pics of image - note that it actually looks better than the pic. The lines are due to smartphone cam.-Update 3/21/17-When it's really bright outside it is extremely tough to see the image. No matter how I adjust the settings or tilt the mirror it is just very very hard to see. For that I am removing half a star. My rating is now 3.5. Still good in low light conditions tho!-Update 3/25/17-The mirror keeps falling! It will not stay atached to my rear view mirror. I don't have a standard rear view mirrow but it is well within the specifications. It's one of the auto dimming mirrows but it's the same dimensions as a standard one, just a little fatter. See photos of my mirror. So I removed a star for that. I do not think it has anything to do with my mirror but more so the spring clips of the camera mirror. I am concerned that with it pulling on the cord it will break or create a shortage. I'm sure when it falls it is creating a lot of pressure on the cord. This has fallen like 5 times now since my last update and that's not good.- Update 4/20/17 -I recently installed a aftermarket radio with av inputs. Plugged it in and hooked up the reverse detection wire to the power wire off the camera for powering the mirror. Viola! Works when I put car in reverse and looks factory! No more falling mirror. It is still going strong. It has rained a few times and I have washed car a few times and it still appears waterproof. We haven't gotten into the monsoon everyday season just yet here in Florida but it's right around the corner so we'll see. So far so good.

Screen shakes when mounted
Installed in a 2017 f150. Works great day and night. Clear...focused and works well. The screen clips over the existing rear view mirror...kinda shakes whike driving...but other than that it is a good camers. The way the screen mounts to the rearview mirror lacks quality.

Great backup cam at a great price
Awesome product for the price!I installed this to make it easier to hook up my boat trailer. Now I can see my tow hitch and back up to the trailer hitch with ease.Install took me a little longer than expected, as mounting the camera had to be just right for me to see the tow hitch.Knocked off one star as the screen adjustments really don’t do much. Other than that, great product. Would recommend.

I would refer it to a friend
The media could not be loaded. Great camera and for the price can't go wrong works just fine only has one little issue and it bugs out a little but is only when you turn it on and off fast like in the video...and also it comes with a lot of extra wires just in case is for a much longer/bigger truck I have a 2002 pathfinder

A simple zip tie slides right through the slots and is easily attached to the factory mirror
Camera and display work well. I had issues with the mirror display falling off the factory mirror on my daughter's E46 BMW. I think the car mirror was just a little to big for the unit to fit on. I removed the little screws on the back that hold on the brackets and completely removed them. A simple zip tie slides right through the slots and is easily attached to the factory mirror. It's a lot simpler than the way it came, and looks better in my opinion.

Nice backup camera system
Nice backup camera system. Image is clear but dim in bright sunshine and wires are thin and fragile. Really nice for under $50 bucks though. Took several hours to install on 2014 Ford Escape but looks stock. Instructions are decent. Connected to reverse lights so camera comes on when car is shifted into reverse. Can't comment on reliability as just installed yesterday.

simple, works
Straight forward installation. I drilled one small hole in the hatch near the license plate to put in the camera, ran the power cord to the back up light and spliced it in, ran the wire that contains power and the video signal under the headliner to the front of the vehicle, and connected it to the mirror that clamps onto the existing mirror. All wires are hidden, camera looks stock. I have an OnStar mirror and the buttons are still visible with the new mirror clamped on.Aside from the items included, I used a drill, a stiff piece of wire to help run the cords, and wire connectors to hook into the power. The camera turns on when the backup lights turn on. Only possible negative is that, like a lot of cars, all of the lights on my car turn on when I shut the car off. This means the camera comes on for a bit until the lights shut off.
