I purchased this step to replace the one that my husband had built for me to use as an easier way to get into our high-mattress bed. It served its purpose for a while but had a remnant rug for around it and it had become a bit wobbly. A friend told me that yoga / aerobic steps/platforms would serve the same purpose. I like this one since the description said that it had adjustable heights. I had measured the previous step and this one seemed perfect at the insert.I was pleasantly surprised to find the grid top not only attractive but not so slick as to slip off as I was getting into bed. The platform came nicely packed. As you can see in the photos, the higher level is achieved with the gray pieces that you can attach for the 6-inch height or leave in the bottom for the 4-inch (approx) height.All in all, I am pleased with this purchase. This step would suit you for aerobics, workouts, trainers, etc. It is very stable for a multitude of purposes.

I am in my early 40s and had a distal femoral osteotomy surgery (doctor essentially broke my femur to straighten it and was no longer knock kneed). After coming along in my physical therapy (PT), one of my newer exercises was to step up onto a 4 inch platform. I did not need a full length stepper and this was the perfect size for my needs. I currently cannot step up on anything taller than this at the moment but in the near future, I will be able to adjust this platform to 6 inches and then be able to progress my PT. :)Before using this platform, I had read some of these reviews and noticed people were complaining this platform would not stay in place when stepping on it. Well, I didn't want to take a chance of falling since I have a hard time walking on my own since my surgery and took the precaution of placing this platform on my carpet or on my equipment mat. Either one of these worked well and I believed if I hadn't done this, I would most assuredly have fallen. I also tested the theory that this platform is not steady and sure enough, this will move if not grounded. This is why I gave this product 4 stars and not 5. This product seems to be sturdy enough for me but in my opinion, this could be made just a tad more sturdy in the middle of where you would step.Overall, I believe this product will suit your needs for its intended purpose. Just make sure to place a nonslip rug or mat underneath to insure it will not slip!

Excellent product, exactly as advertised

Works Gr8. I suffered a leg injury and needed something so I could get into our SUV. This step helps tremendously. Lightweight and just the right size to allow user to turn around on to position self to enter vehicle. Feels sturdy at the initial height.

I'd give this a 4 or 5 for aerobic workouts as advertised but if you want to use this adjustable stepper for rehab work in your home of stretching oa knees , etc, its ok at lower level but the second level does not snap together and is not easy for seniors with weakened hands or arthritis in hands or anyone with impairments in hands. it should of had a quality qc check for this safety issue,(not in China asm here) , if not locked, it can slip . I understand value pricing but not a quality asm at higher level.

My sink is higher than it should be and the lowest of the 2 settings is perfect. I can also use the second setting to do step exercises! I love it!
