This works fine on a hinged loft door, it can be tricky to fit but the screw slots allow for some adjustment. Quality is ok although you may need to bend the locking finger until you find a sweet spot that latches/unlatches easily...this needs to be done before fitting.

Very poor quality, don’t waste your hard earned money. Poor screws, mechanism, only good for light use. Looking to buy a replacement.

Only instructions were online diagrams which were useless. Supplied screws were equally useless and shouldn’t be used; two heads sheared off whilst using proper screwdriver. Fine adjustment required. Once installed, using good quality screws, latch appeared to work quite well but overall let down by inferior instructions and inferior screws.

Very good value, works well and fast delivery time

Started to fail after two weeks of use. There’s a small ratchet mechanism inside which is depressed before it hooks over another hook which engages the latch to stay closed. The latching mechanism 2 in 3 times gets stuck sliding into place which stops you from being able to shut the door.
